Let me use an analogy.

Playing FPS competitively with a KBM and then going over to a buddies' house and playing COD on his xbox is like running marathons as a hobby and then going over to your grandmother's house and going speedwalking with her.

I just want it to enjoy a fps like killzone for the single player because it isn't available for PC. Nobody serious about competing in FPS plays a fucking console version when it's available for PC. It feels unnatural using a controller and takes away the enjoyment for me personally.

You can play however you like, but to say no one who plays seriously plays on the console is just fucking retarded. When you compete you are playing on a level playing field, whether KBM or controller.

killzone was a terrible single player game, there are 3-4 times when you get the "your character gets knocked unconscious and captured" fuckyoumeme, the story made no sense, and there were one or two levels that implemented completely different game mechanics and did it so poorly that you wonder what the heck the design team was doing. I'd rate it under Ghosts and BF4 campaign wise, and those are more or less universally held up as atrocious SP campaigns.

Its the only game of the last 2 years I have played that I actively regretted finishing, I wish someone had warned me to never buy it. And this is me holding back instead of spewing the true venomous bile that Killzone inspires.

maybe the MP is a lot better but it felt like a kiddie MP game after having played battlefield 4 for a few weeks on PC, so it didn't hold much interest for me and I was glad to trade the game away after finishing SP and playing maybe 4-5 MP matches.

Killzone wasn't great but it was an average shooter with some stupid mechanics in levels. The story was Meh and felt rushed in places but ended on a decent note.

Hardly the abortion Spronk claims it is. 6/10 game.
