There's probably no way to avoid the fact that the HMD version of PS4 games will probably have the visual quality reduced to PS3 levels. The high demand of a 90hz refresh rate + having to render each scene twice + the increased fov is brutal. Having a higher resolution (1440) is more important, but they can probably upscale it without a problem.

IDK if they were planning this out from before launch they probably used the same engineers that built the console (Atleast I would assume they would maybe that's idiocy on my part) and maybe they know the true limitations better? I guess we will see.

You act like this is something shocking. Drive Club is finished. Most staff of internal development unfortunately get laid off once a project is done. The same for the developer that finished Killzone for the Vita, and their unannounced project was likely canned.
It was 399 moron go check Kotaku, it was an error in their system, and amazon honors errors.
