Or if the hole can be filled with a kinect? I don't even think the kinect accessory is available yet, but it's coming, and so if you buy a kinect-less Xbone, and then buy the kinect accessory later for some reason, will it just slide right into the existing (empty) hole? or is it just going to be a USB wired accessory.

Kinect originally came with the system when it launched last year. Yes, you can plug it in there. They just recently started selling the system without the Kinect to help increase sales.

Good to know. I was hoping they wouldn't just let the big hole where the Kinect used to be go to waste forever. Also looks way better in a living room not having the wire everywhere.

Fez was alright, I guess. But I lost interest about 10 minutes in.

The other game about the path or whatever.. boring as fuck.

Why are all (most) of the free games for PS4 retro-looking nonsense. Outlast was the only real game so far.


Played Dragon's Crown on PS3 and while I love big tittys, that wasn't enough to hold my interest more than 30 minutes. The other game, Proteus, oh fuck no. That is a slap in the face.

Limited library on both consoles make their monthly free games very hit or miss with mostly misses - its to be expected this early in the generation. I wouldnt expect amazing games to be consistently offered for another year or so. Strider was a decent offering but most of the games are indie and if you arent into indie you'd be kinda left out.

My kid(s) has not touched his PS4 in months. ITs sad but the lack of games already almost a year in is quite shitty. They are still loving the shit out of the 360, GTA and all their buddies that are doing the same. They are literally fighting over xbox 360 play time.

I hope this holiday brings some new titles because all this $400 got me is a dust collector so far.

Well it was clearly the better buy. And im sure it will start paying off this holiday into early next year. In fact this 24th is my younger kids birthday and I might get him a Ps4 as well. It is the future, after all.

LOL, they know more than you think, its just the games and a lack of them pretty much suck, bro. There is only so much CoD ghost and BF4 one can play before you want something more. They are really looking forward to GTA on the PS4. Plus dont forget the friends thing. They both have well established list of buddies on 360. That makes a world of difference. Its like playing a superior new MMO by yourself that you know is better or going back to the trusted WoW with your 100 friends. Where is more fun going to be?

I never played Crysis 3 so, I downloaded that for PS3 and will run through it. Agreed on Dragon's Crown. Started out fine, but got old very fast.

Yeah the last couple of months have been very lackluster for PS Plus.

EA Access is live today. $5/mo or $30/year gets you BF4, Peggle 2, Madden 25, FIFA 14, 10% off purchases, 5 day early access (other limits to be determined per title, no specifics yet) to Madden 15, FIFA 15, NHL 15 and Dragon Age: Inquisition. The free game selection will continue to expand and Peter Moore says he has no intention of removing any.

Loosely related, no Madden demo this year, only way to play it early is via EA Access on Xbox One.

This is why I bought the XB1 as the only console friends I have are on the 360 and because of their large friends list I don't see them switching to the PS4. The same thing happened to me on the PS3, I took the path less traveled and ended up playing alone.

in exchange for no "kids" birthday party, (as in the boys voluntarily didn't not have a birthday party with their friends- which normally costs in the neighborhood of 400 or so dollars-each)

my- now- 13yr old got a ps4 last month.

my 10yr(on saturday) old son, is getting a xbox1- he also gave up the kids party in exchange for it.
wife bought the kinectless version.

so what gaming system does my family use- well as of saturday, all of them.

we'll have a WiiU, ps4, xbone, and 3 pc's, 4 ds's, 2 3ds, 2 android tablets 3 smart phones(soon to be 5)

Yeah I talked to my brother and he said Crysis3 was great. The PS3 free games are usually awesome.

I dunno I am having a decent amount of fun with dragons crown, but I really like these games and still occasionally play DnD shadows of mystara and x-men arcade with others. The latter mainly because spamming Colosus' special nonstop will never get old.

Fez sucked my nuts, proteus was horrible and dragon crown well the titties were worth the install I guess bit the game sucks too. The path of Shit was the worst. " move this tree" fuck you /em uninstall

Outlast ruled though.

Dragon's Crown does not suck. The PS4 ps + games have all been shit indie nonsense for the most part.
