a good deal on a new ps4 or xbone is to grab a movers packet from your post office, rip the Best Buy 10% off coupon from inside, and use that in store on a Destiny, Modern Warfare, Madden, or Sunset Overdrive pre order bundle. Online or in store. If you have a Best Buy credit card you will get an additional 10% off (back in the form of reward points good for a future buy) plus all these bundles will give you $10 back in RZ points after 2 weeks. I'm sorta tempted to get a sunset overdrive xbox console (all white) for $315+tax this way, but I'd rather wait for some sorta Halo bundle.

Alternatively if you love Target you get a PS4 + 1 year of PS+ for $410, 5% off with a Redcard, this week.

don't forget the new dualshock 4 controllers either, picked up a new blue one its sexy. also comes in camo, white, and red i think. these new ones have slightly better thumbsticks (fixed issues with the pads wearing out super fast) so if your pad is wearing out faster than your dick may be time to upgrade

I have Destiny Beta. Had Alpha also. Haven't played it a single time. I will definitely pass on owning it because I just don't care enough. I'm not saying it's a bad game.. it's probably great. I just haven't had a compelling reason to play it.

Another amazing PS+ selection for the PS4. Getting a little tired of having this supposed next-gen console and playing more games on tablet and PS3 because the choice is so piss poor. Nine months down and still only own FFXIV and Killzone. D:

i assume you already finished TLOU on ps3, if not definitely get it for PS4 its the best game i ever played and ps4 visuals are stunning. I've been playing Watch Dogs this week, got it for $30 at Sams Club and it trades in for $40 this week at best buy/gamestop so gonna play as much as I can and then trade in on the weekend. Its ok, if you hated assassins creed/GTA/saints row you will hate watch dogs, but Im kinda OCD so having a shit ton of things to mindlessly do is kinda up my alley. I didn't like the PC version at launch for a buncha reasons, but find the PS4 version fine.

PS+ is pretty great so far for vita users, i think velocity 2x is cross platform. i never actually touch my vita but having all these games will be great for next long vacation

The PS4 is selling crazy well, and PS+ has a very high buy-in rate. Why would they incentivize PS4/PS+ purchases with super attractive PS+ freebies? Especially in Sept/Oct/Nov when all the big titles launch...

They'll save their big guns for off months (see July's Towerfall, Dead Space 3, and Strider) when they need to drive sales. Or when a major spending holiday comes around (December).

It's been pretty ridiculous. Even the PS3 got shit titles this time around. At least we were able to get Dead SPace 3 and Crysis 3 the last two months on those platforms.

Microsoft has room to make waves on this, and they probably should.

I got the PS4 TLOU bundle and I will echo this may be the best game I have ever played. I can not recommend this game enough.

WRT to watch dogs, what makes the PS4 version better than the PC?
Also, where do you get your information regarding trade in purchases, I found a site but it seemed really old.

[livejournal]An electronic store around my parts is doing a one day only 10% discount on all apparatuses (which includes game consoles, but not the games). I noticed that the price of the PS4 is surprisingly competitive in Switzerland, even more so with 10% off (I'll pay it the equivalent of $440, but that's cheaper than ordering one in the US, having to pay shipping and taxes and not be able to use the warranty if needed), so I am officially a member of the club now![/livejournal]

I was waiting on The Witness, but I guess Transistor will do for now! I am really thorn about The Last of Us though, because there are some minor bugs in the PS4 version and the original game is the PS3 version and I am curious how much juice they squeezed out of the last gen Playstation for its swan song (the swan will still sing for a while though).
