Without Sean here someone has to do it.Dat broken record
I don't particularly care about EA access but $20/year is a pretty good deal. Dragon Age was easily worth that by itself.i barely touched my xbone for a long time, but recently gotten more into it. i gotta admit EA access is a pretty awesome deal, i don't do sports games so i haven't installed a single one of those but i have battlefield 4, titanfall (with all DLCs), and now dragon age for $30/year. even better you can order ea access codes from microsoftstore.com and there is a $10 off coupon on boxes of post sugar bear cereal from stores, so i ended up buying 3 years worth for $20/yr and also $250 of xbox credit for $150, enough to last a couple years for games on sale.
the forzas are so much more fun to me than driveclub, even preordered forza 6 ultimate. if you don't have any of the forzas check out the (free still?) fast and furious forza mini version, its pretty fun and a nice little bite sized version of the game
can also grab really cheap copies of assassins creed 4 & 5 ($15 for both) and halo masterchief ($20-25) on ebay/etc since so many people are buying consoles with digital codes packed in
still rocket league and bloodborne imo make PS4 a much better first console choice, right now. with the fall probably halo 5 will tip it back to xbone assuming fallout 4 and battlefront are equal on both, then No Mans Sky and Uncharted 4 will tip it back to ps4.
I won big at the casino on Saturday night so I bought one Sunday. 1 Tb Version with MC collection and Unity. Also bought Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Dead Rising 3 used. Titanfall was 9 dollars and with Xbox Live gold the season pass is free. Also got Ori.Ya I picked up another xbone for wife which was the 1TB halo and it's nice. I will wait to get another Ps4 when they make a slim 1Tb.
Oh sorry. Sunset Overdrive. Yeah played for about 5 minutes so far. Seems funny for the first 5 minutes I played it.Ori was great, couldn't stomach playing it through 3 times for all the achievements though... I keep hearing about SO and it's cheap enough, but I have bought a lot this year. Just got Rare Replay which is incredible for $30.
Everything about this post is triggering me super hard. Please stop being wrong near me.bought the rare replay collection which came out yesterday ($30 for 30 or so games?) and man these games are all total shit. i guess they did a good job running it on xbox one, but who the hell wants to play 8 bit crunchy ass games with MIDI soundtracks from the 80s. I did have to check out battletoads, what a shitty ripoff from teenage mutant ninja turtles. A couple of banjo games and perfect dark games are also included, haven't checked those out yet. I was always a pc kid growing up so virtually all of these games are unknown to me, so its cool digging through the normal nintendo/sega people's youths.
a lot of them are running the 360 emulator internally so its cool to check that out too, it all seems to be working really well and i can even go online into xbox live and stuff while inside the "emulator". Microsoft really did an amazing trick/job with that.
no wonder kids today are spoiled, when i look at the quality of the games they are getting this year and the shit my generation had to play
