I can agree with you on Castle..sort of. The plot from that show gets a little tired after a few episodes, but I enjoy looking at Kate so there's that. His daughter annoys the everloving fuck out of me.

I have a good gaming PC but I still prefer console gaming lately. After sitting on a computer for 10 hours at work, the last thing I want to do is sit at one at home. My gaming priorities have changed and I think it makes me a shitty human.

That's cool. The people I talk to who use (and love) their xbox ones usually say they only use the voice commands in limited ways.

I don't use my voice commands and the only voice interaction I have is when it overhears me say "Xbox" and then brings up the voice menu. It's pretty creepy, but also fairly amusing. Like saying the word 'walk' and having your dog go batshit crazy.

Microsoft hasn't given out numbers since January. INSUFFICIENT DATA, SIR.

I don't know much about this but why would the quality be so much lower using component cables, they can do 1080 also?

Not sure, but I'm pretty sure it's because Component is still analog, and HDMI is digital, so no matter how good your cable, there could is signal degradation.

There might be a negligible difference between components and hdmi, but people have been arguing back and forth for quite some time now about the two in hard core videophile circles. So pretty much they are the same when it comes down to regular people.

Nope, still HDCP over HDMI for games. Yosp claims they were going to patch that out fairly quickly but who the fuck knows, it's likely on the same schedule as adding 3D blu-ray playback and media center functionality...you know, those things a fucking PS3 could do.

In all fairness, the Xbox One numbers would be deemed very good if not for the fact the PS4 numbers are stellar.

I must say the thing that impresses me the most is the share of current gen sales for multi-gen titles. For a game like Call of Duty: Ghosts, almost 20% of the Xbox and Playstation sales are for the XB1 and PS4 when they represent barely more than 5% of the installed base.
