If shrinking causes companies like EA to not produce Madden 45 and CoD 26, how is that a loss for real game makers? People who actually make good games that are unique and not rehashed sequel bullshit?
As much as I'd like there not to be a 29th madden and a CoD 24... We're stuck with those franchises for a while. I mean, hell we're also on Assassins creed 7 is being worked on... Could you imagine the outrage if some asshole company like Disney tried to buy the rights and milk Star Wars for a 7th film?!?

Xbox one still has better games right now imho as of March 10th.
Killer Instinct, Forza, Titanfall, Plants vs Zombies, Crimson Dragon, Dead rising 3, Just Dance 2014, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Zoo Tycoon.
None of which can be played on a PS4..
You can claim all this Lower resolution, sold less units, and less horsepower to you are blue in the face, but as a gamer you should be pretty happy with that list.
If it's the new Dreamcast then so be it.

Not saying what you can find on playstation is great, but to boast that xbone has "better games" is a bit of stretch, it does certinly have "more" games. Titanfall, Forza and MAYBE Killer Instinct are worth buying, the rest are garbage.
Plants and Zombies is garbage?? clearly you do not own a Xbox one. That game is better then all of those on that list
And also Metacritic is for suckers.They have given some of the most mediocre games high scores,and great games like Garden Warfare shitty scores. Don't believe me go look up the Killzone franchise..

5 for niche players. Best current dance game, a really good game for kids with Zoo Tycoon, a really fun indie platformer with Max, and a continuation of the Dead rising franchise.
Panzer dragon, and Ryse are both throw away titles, but are decent for a casual.

Leaving Forza, Plants vs Zombies and Dead rising 3 as 75+ games on metacritics that can't be played on PS4.
75+ games on PS4 that can't be played on Xbox One: DC Universe Online, War Thunder, Outlast, Don't Starve, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Zen Pinball 2, The Pinball Arcade, Resogun, Trine 2, Sound Shape, Towerfall Ascension, Flower. That's 3 vs 11.
Now if you limit the scope to 'full' games sold at retail on optical disks, the Xbox One wins 3 vs 2. Probably 4 vs 3 once Titanfall and inFamous are out.
I'll pass on "baby's first third person shooter", i watched the hour long quick look on giant bomb of PvZ and it's not for me, in fact i am not even sure who that game is for.
Oh and you do understand metacritc doesn't rate games right? It's only a average of collected review scores, and while it's not perfect it gives a fine idea of the quality of a game compared to only going to IGN or game informer or something.
All those game games besides resogun can be played on the PC and are old as fuck. Thats how far out the PS4 has to reach to put games on there system. Why not put Warframe on there as well lol

titanfall is a pretty amazing game, it was pretty crazy of microsoft to snatch it away from sony. especially after respawn left activision because activision was fucking them around so much, its pretty funny to see EA do it to them too. I doubt infamous or MGS: preview will be similar in total value, although driveclub will hopefully be really fun and free.
from a purely non emotional standpoint, I haveta agree that xbone is sorta winning on top games right now, but PS+ imo trumps that with a library of really, really, really good games for just $30-50/yr. And of course both lose massively to PC. playing titanfall right now on, bitches
