Subscribing to EA Access will cost $4.99 a month (or $29.99 a year), and since the program is technically in beta, only four games will initially be available: FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4, "with more titles being added soon."

Shrug for $30 a year i can play games i dont want to buy whenever i want for a very small cost. I am quite ok with that.

Nod but i play sports games just a few times a year and then i give them away or trade them in - I dont care about the rosters i only play them when family is over so its all good.

The sports games are still $40+ per on the next gen consoles - and if it adds more EA games it could put up Rivals and Titanfall(at some point).

All it is, is a way to maintain some type of revenue over the used market. EA doesn't come out with anything these days worth even playing on the used market. The only IPs worth a shit any longer are FIFA and BF,and after the last BF4 bug fiasco you can count me out of ever purchasing a BF title until about 3 months post launch.

Nod, was referring to used. Just got 2/3 for PS4 used for just under $30 and PS4 used tends to run higher.

If there's savings vs used it's slim. But it couldbecome great with a wider catalog.

Yeah, I think what has been described so far looks worth the $30, up to them to earn more from me. It could very well evolve into an exclusive 5-day head start on all EA games in addition to a de facto second Games With Gold program going forward as The Vault games are added/rotated (but no plans to remove them for now... just plans to add, which sounds like a CYA is all).

Only thing that could really spoil the early access benefits are overly conservative time limits on the 5 day trials.

I saw that, amusing but whatever. Theyd rather people who want the games to buy them used or pay full price which still exceeds twice as much as the access would be yearly.

Aside from Destiny beta my ps4 just collects dust and neither system has DLNA support yet so f it.

EA is no worse than Acti - and every other company that does nothing but rerelease games annually with a minor upgrade to roster/visuals. I think most if not all the companies are dbags but doesnt change the fact id rather pay $30 a year than buy a game im going to inevitably trade into gamestop.

Why do you play their games if you are self-admitting they are recycled garbage?

There are plenty of companies out there that are not scumbags. I understand they all need to turn profits, but companies like EA and Activision are the worst.
