Also, as nice as the ship is, he's not exactly going to be storing bounties in it like he did with the Razor Crest.

It honestly would not surprise me to find out it can out run the Millennium Falcon.Chekov says if you write a roided-up starfighter into a script, you're gonna have some dogfighting that needs it down the line.
They made it impossible to miss that it can outrun xwings too.
Maybe Mando should've asked for a lateral thigh piece upgrade too.
This is what I thought seeing it.
Installation 04
Installation 04, also known as Alpha Halo, or simply Halo, was one of seven ring-shaped superweapons that comprised the Forerunners' Halo Array. It was located in the Soell system in the Orion Arm and was the closest Halo ring to the human...www.halopedia.org
In the Boba Episode of Mandlorian he had his lineage prove that he was in fact Mandalorian, retconning anything Lucas has said. Also Djin Darin isn't blood Mandalorian so it's either the Mandalorian who know nothing of his heritage (Boba) or the outsider who was raised as one of them (Din).i also don't think boba fett will be mandalore, unless they change something, george lucas has always firmly stated that jango wasn't mandalorian and therefor neither was boba. i think bo-katan even calls boba out for wearing mandalorian armor last season... if ANYTHING, i think they are leaning much harder on din djarin becoming mandalore.
To be fair.....letterkenney.gifi also think they kinda screwed the first episode of the Mando s3 up. now they have to make a new season 3 opener which may be rushed or poorly executed, or it starts off from the second episode and we get one less Mando next year. BTW i dont expect to see Mando again until the finale of Boba and it ill be a quick scene because it was a reshoot and he isnt supposed to be there. I'm probably wrong but we will see.
this is going to be interesting on Mando rewatches. you watch season 1 and 2 and then you have to dig up Boba S1 Ep5 for Mando S3 Ep 1 in order to watch the rest of the season.
i havent seen it marketed that way as Mando 2.5, if they had then thats an extremely unfair thing to do to a much beloved character as Boba Fett, its also sets it up for failure becuase only one episode so far has any thing to do with Mando and its entirely Mando. he isnt a recurring character so far like Cara Dune has been. i really dont want to be right that they hijacked this show with a Mando s3 episode, i just have no other explanation as to how this show has a mild budget while that one Mando episode looks like they spent a blockbuster movie budget to produce. all that being said, it was an incredibly made and well thought out episode. they get Gina back and Mando becomes my favorite TV show in the last ten years after Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.To be fair.....letterkenney.gif
I remember seeing BoBF being referred to as "Mandalorian season 2.5" at least once by the higher ups involved with this show. Its just surprising that it all happened in one episode haha. Agree tho, I expect next episode and the finale to go right back to the BoBF feel and focus and it to play out exactly as you said.
weird thing is none of the "rumor" youtubers i watch has even touched on this anomaly either. maybe they had a decent budget for Boba but they spent it all on this one Mando episode, but if thats the case, then shouldnt Boba have been in it? its just weird.Yeah I am not sure where that episode came from to be honest. They have only been filming season 3 of Mando for a month or two at this point so while I get the idea that they used the season 3 premiere as this BoBF episode, I don't understand how it would have worked. Something isn't adding up in this, they could not have cranked something that good looking out so quickly. Maybe it was filmed as part of season 2 and held in reserve? I've got no clue.
that's right, totally forgot they did that. lucas made such a big deal about the fett's not being mandalorians, i don't know why favreau going against the grain didn't stick with meIn the Boba Episode of Mandlorian he had his lineage prove that he was in fact Mandalorian, retconning anything Lucas has said. So when does the bad batch show up?these episodes are written 6-8 months before filming and not just "dropped" in, it was all planned over a year ago. It'll probably become super obvious next week when Boba and Mando team up.
I think the theory that eventually Boba Fett will acquire the darksaber (beat mando in single combat I presume) and become the leader of Mandalore makes a lot of sense, since Boba's pauldron symbol is the Mythosaur, which the Armorer straight up said will be a sign of Mandalore returning to greatness. Din Djarin's symbol is the Mudhorn.
Wouldn't be surprised if Boba Fett shows up in season 3 of Mandalorian, probably the Pykes have taken over Mandalore too so its all connected.
