She called him saying Homelander was going off the deep end and is going to kill her. It's absolutely insane for her to now be pissed at Hughie for trying to save her, AND HIMSELF whether she wants it or not.
She's not the only one who's life is at stake and the idea that she gets to choose who Hughie is and isn't allowed to save because she's a strong independent woman is all sorts of bullshit

Just want to say I’ve been enjoying this show a ton more than I expected. It’s been a great ride so far. While Karl Urban is an amazing Billy Butcher, Anthony Starr is just incredible has Homelander. He really embodies the role like no one else I can imagine.
If by some miracle, Lord of the Rings is a hit for Amazon and they don‘t screw it up, it will be massive shift in Original Streaming content and a big blow to Apple, who really should be riding high above the competition, but so far has failed to really get that big hit series. They screwed the pooch BAD with Foundation, and Raised By Wolves was entertaining but too weird for its audience and never had its moment. Invasion has potential, but it all hinges on what they do with their Season 2. See was just not good.
However, In the spirit of that absolutely terrible movie The Sphere, I choose to forget Wheel of Time.

Raised by Wolves was HBO Max
Apple TV+ has actually had a decent amount of hits. Last years Oscar best picture winner was CODA, the first oscar win for a streaming only movie (Roma, from Netflix, was technically theaters first). Ted Lasso had a lot of buzz in season 1 and has won a lot of awards.
Severance is a big cult hit of 2022. but yeah, Foundation was a huge miss and The Morning Show seems crazy expensive due to how many big stars it has.
Ultimately though its about money, Apple makes $1 billion dollars a day in revenue from mostly phones, throwing away $2b/yr on random TV shows is literally couch change for them. Amazon is the only other media company that has that kinda money to just throw away and not care, Disney HBO max and Netflix all have started to belt tighten now. We'll see less expensive TV shows in 2023 and beyond now.

soldier boy has been a great addition to the show, especially with the homlander=trump angle going full turbo in service of the MM step-dad schleck.
the original anti-hero crew, outside butcher and hughie, has taken some serious hits this season. i'm starting to hate MM. he's morphed into ocd skylar white of the crew. does nothing but complain and windex things. frenchy went from a cool and mysterious drug/weapons expert to a fat and constantly weeping simp. kimiko has been terrible without powers. any scene with kimiko/frenchy has been automatic fast forward last couple episodes. no fucks given.
starlight looks like shit. kind of cute first season to hollywood plastic surgery ghoul. seems like every episode she looks more like michael jackson. they giving out nose jobs in her trailer between episodes? yuk.
the deep stuff was gold. loving the noir story so far.

I'm still confused as to what powers Noir actually has, other than some strength and physical ability ala Maeve. People say he has healing powers, but that's confusing, because while he has clearly recovered from some bad injuries (quickly?), his face/head is still fucked up from Nicaragua '84. And he's missing parts of his brain apparently?

Not much gas been explained about him and almost all his backstory is from the coke smuggling scene and the cartoon animals.
And his tv show character looks to be completely incompatible with the comics so none of that is if any use.
We just know: some level of enhanced strength, ninja abilities, some level of super healing, doesn't talk anymore, peanut allergy, above Maeve level, but far below Soldier Boy. And a peanut allergy for some reason

I have no idea, but him being completely insane is wonderful. The shit where he's just staring at a wall hallucinating cartoons is something else. He's scared shitless of Soldier Boy.
Honestly this has been a great season of TV. This season of The Boys has been wonderful, Stranger Things was mostly good, and Umbrella Academy was very good. Much better than anything MCU has done (maybe excluding NWH)
