We beat both teams that were in the Super Bowl. The Colts have defense problems but we're nigh un-beatable at home. Our only losses were on the road to Steelers, Patriots, Broncos, Philly*, and Dallas. Though Dallas was a give up game as our leading QB was Matt Hasselbeck. In each of those games our top rusher averaged 30 yards.

Basically if we can get home field advantage, SOME sort of run defense, a healthy runner, and a healthy secondary we're in very good standings to proceed to the Super Bowl.

Yeah, that's how it works. If you are the #3 team and you improve in your weak spots while not losing your strengths, you can become the #2 team.
