Yeah, the Lynch deal is basically acknowledgement that he's cog 1a in their offense with Wilson being 1b. They still have to do something about Wilson too. I think this will price Murrey out of Dallas though. If Lynch just set market value for a feature back, then expect to see him in another uniform next year.

Per @mortreport: Barring breakdown in formal contract negotiations, Ndamukong Suh will sign with Dolphins. Deal around $114M, $60M gtd.

LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills agree to new five-year deal - ESPN
McCoy just got a nice extension from the Bills as well.

LeSean McCoy and the Bills have agreed to a five-year, $40 million contract that includes $26.5 million in guaranteed money, according to the star running back's agent.

The deal, which will start once McCoy is officially traded to Buffalo by the Eagles, will pay the three-time Pro Bowler $16 million in the first year, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus

Too much money for both Suh and McCoy imo. Suh I can understand because someone was going to throw money at him, and for him to go to Miami they'd have to pay him (although he will help them quite a bit). RB's just don't need to get paid that much anymore though in McCoy's case.

Randall Cobb stays with pack, 4yrs/$40m.
Apparently they could get the deal done because the Packers have given up on keeping Bulaga. Given that Rodgers is so good that only the quality of his OL slows him down, I'm not sure this is the best outcome.

More Schefter:

So now Byron Maxwell and Frank Gore are telling people they're headed to Philadelphia. Eagles getting busy...

Barring a breakdown in talks, Frank Gore expected to sign 3-year deal in which $7.5 million in first two years are guaranteed.

It sucks to hear about Gore. He's definitely in my top 5 favorite 49ers. The problem is, you just can't pay a back at his age what the Eagles were offering. He's probably the only RB since Tomlinson to be in serious contention for the HoF.

I'm curious if the 49ers feel like Hyde is ready, or if they're going to bring in somebody like Spiller and give him one more year of backup duty.

Maxwell is reportedly getting 5/50m. Sucks the Hawks couldn't keep him, but that's the business of football.

Such a bummer to hear about Gore, but I knew it was a long shot they would bring him back. Hope he is successful there.

Maxwell was good, but he isn't worth that much is he?

I'm sad to see Gore go as well but better one year too early than one year too late.

I would feel better about the Niners backfield moving forward if Lattimore had worked out. Hyde seemed explosive, but I'm not sure if his pass protection skills are up to snuff or not. Tough to evaluate when the Niners O-Line was turning 2-3 guys loose every pass play.
