If him and Bradford get hurt in the preseason, I will smile evilly and feel great.
Kelly better have the best voodoo witch doctor imported from the dankest, smelliest corners of Portland to make sure to keep Bradford and DMM healthy. May as well toss in some vegan eye of newt to keep Kiko healthy as well.

For a guy that has one year where he wasnt hurt (admittedly a great year). He's also not coming that much cheaper than McCoy. But hey, Chip's a genius so who are we to second guess him.

I was out and about during my last post and made it on the fly. Now that I'm back and have had a few moments to look at articles, this deal makes no sense for the Eagles to make. That's not the (extremely) bitter Dallas fan in me speaking either.
Murray deal: 5 yrs, $42m, $21m guaranteed.
McCoy deal: 5 yrs, $40m, $26m guaranteed.
So... they basically replaced the 2013 rushing champ with the 2014 rushing champ, added $2m on the top end and shaved $5m off in guarantees. Again, for a guy who has one year where he didn't miss time from being hurt. Oh, and he's older than Shady.

Did the Jets get better? yes. Was blowing their load on the defense & Fitzpatrick the right approach when a guy like Brees is being shopped? I don't know.
