I would love to see them do that at something like an NFL stadium. The amount of drunks leaving the game trying to use it would be worth the laughs alone, then you know a super drunk would get stuck in the thing and possibly lose their life. Not to the machine but the pissed off other drunk fans trying to leave.
From what I've read, he kind of lucked into it.It does you wonder how Dan Synder was ever smart enough to become rich in the first place.
Be a real test of his authority if we do take a QB there. Obviously it makes the RG3 trade look fucking terrible if you do, but if he's ready to move on from it and get "his guys" starting with a QB, then it is what it is...as long as Snyder keeps out of it.From what I've read, he kind of lucked into it.
As for the QB situation, I'm thinking this is just McCloughan building the team how he wants it. It's also likely a way to pressure anyone who's thinking of drafting a QB high to trade up with Washington. We may not really want a QB, but if you say anyone is on the board, it makes trades viable.
While I wouldn't put it past the Redskins to do something this stupid... again. It seems like smoke screen being put up to drive up the market value of their pick. He's from Texas, it's close enough.
Meanwhile, in Washington...
Skins might draft another QB and officially make the RGKnee trade the worst in NFL history
While that's possible, the biggest surprise of Free Agency for me hasn't been the trades, it's been that the Redskins haven't done anything at QB. I thoughteveryoneassumed they were doing something there this offseason, and while it is true there was nothing available at the position to bring in, you think they would have at least traded one of the guys out...It seems like smoke screen being put up to drive up the market value of their pick.
Cousins didn't exactly help his trade value last year. Really what could you get for RG3 right now? It's even odder when they originally said they wanted to go into this year as it being a competition, only to have Gruden announce that RG3 is going in as the starter. Now this talk about drafting one of the QB's at #5.While that's possible, the biggest surprise of Free Agency for me hasn't been the trades, it's been that the Redskins haven't done anything at QB. I hope it ends the nearest-competition blackout too and not just the home-team-no-sellout blackouts. The blackout rule is stupid. I hope this is the first day of its death.
