I am not very happy at all that they aren't going to be expanding replays (beyond some clock stuff). They say it is because they only want objectively reviewable plays to be allowed, not calls that are up to the subjectivity of the ref. How many times have we seen a flag thrown for a helmet-to-helmet hit when the replay clearly shows it was a clean tackle? How is that not an objective call? Fucking ridiculous.
With how much impact some of these "player safety" rules have on the game why the hell are the owners so opposed to taking a closer look at them? We aren't asking for additional coach challenges we are asking them to make sure they get the fucking calls right. My #1 gripe with the NFL right now is how much impact the refs have on the outcome of a game and nothing is being done about it.

I love the little update at the bottom an hour and half after the article was posted: 3 sources tell us there was no profane tirade, with a link to an article that indeed discusses how there quite possibly was no shocking rant.
