More good news about the 49ers super competent owner.

Jim Harbaugh says he didnt leave the 49ers by choice - SBNation.com
I freely admit a bias against Kawakami, but the guy is Skip Bayless Light. Good journalists report the facts, Lil' Skip reports in a way that grinds his axe far too frequently. The problem is bigger than him though. Spend 15 minutes listening to FOX or CNN and you quickly realize that "reporting"(what you do and how you do it) is done from a particular POV nowadays.

Jed clearly botched a lot of the Harbaugh stuff, but by all accounts, did a good job getting the stadium. Harbaugh won a lot of games and was successful, but clearly fell down in his responsibility in managing the relationships with his bosses. The "truth" is usually messy in my experience. When a story like this one is told in such a way that the lines are perfectly clear and all the dirt is only piled on one side and on the other, the person is spotless, perched upon a white horse? That's fiction.

"The hierarchy moved on" doesn't sounds like Harbaugh is owning any of it. Which again, go back to any of your own failed relationships. I've never been involved in one where there was a blameless party and I highly doubt this is that anomaly.

What kind of poverty ass gym do the Steelers have that they don't have 135 lb dumbbells?

I'm more impressed by the fact that he can balance a barbell in one hand, to be honest.

That is permanently life changing. You are describing a job in which you work into your early thirties and then retire with the lifetime quality of living of a doctor or lawyer, who works 30 years longer.... WTF

EDIT - if you have a few years where you are on the practice squad you should be fine. Ask anyone here who wasnt freakishly athletic, what they could have done with a hundred thousand dollars in their early twenties. Imagine no mortgage, or no student loans.
Most NFL players don't play into their early 30s though. The ones that do typically get the multi-million dollar contracts. Most NFL players are out by 26. Sometimes even earlier.

Some talk about Jeremy Maclin coming to the Chiefs from the Eagles. I think it would be good, and I'd like to see a Missouri kid come back, but it won't cure the Chiefs.

So Russell Wilson tweeted that he went to see 50 Shades and now his religious-oriented followers are judging the fuck out of him. Jon Ryan's response is pretty perfect:

They should hire Hodj to defend him. The whole 140 character limit might be an issue though.
