Yahoo paid $20m for the rights to stream the Bills v Jaguars game in London.

NFL doesn't want to pay for sideline and endzone cameras because they'll cost too much.

how you build a championship quality team DEPENDS on managing your money wisely.

having a team of players who want to win the title and are willing to NOT bust the bank budget wise is the way to go.

the idiocy of what happened with the balls aside.

take Tom Brady- Arguably the top quarterback in the league- top 3 anyway...he is an "elite" quarterback.

look at his salary in Comparison to the other "elite" quarterbacks, he is making WAY less money than he could get..

tom's CAP hit 14,000,000
Cash used this year $8,000,000

13 quarterbacks have a CAP hit Higher than Brady in 2015..is he worse then them? NO.. but he structured and restructured his contract last year or the year before so as to free up money so that he can get -better(hopefully)- players to play with,,

overall "average" salary for tom brady for the current contract... 11.4 million...over half of the starting quarterbacks in the league make more than he does "average salary"....
Matt Ryan with a 19.5 million cap hit this year
or eli manning @ 19.75
or brees at26.5 million.

think about this, compared to the Saints this year- the patriots can spend 12.5 million dollars more on OTHER PLAYERS vs the saints...

The guy is married to some bitch who makes way way more than him, its not the standard.....but it was a fun way to talk up the Patriots!

Looks like its confirmed the texans are this years hard knocks team, JJ Watt Hype.
My favorite part of Hard Knocks last year was when they went to play a scrimmage with the Texans and all the O-line guys were shitting their pants about having to block him. Also there was a rumor that the Broncos briefly considered trading Peyton Manning to the Texans. I don't think there is any chance of it happening now, but that would make Hard Knocks must-see TV for sure.

You're forgetting everything involving Bryan Cox. The "I told you guys, I started fucking when I was 10" is the pinnacle of Hard Knocks moments.

It's true though. When you have 15-20% of your cap tied to a single player, it makes building a team difficult. Worse is when you've got an overpaid QB and a 2nd overpaid player, which is what screwed the Lions for so long.

You do realize there's a difference between a cap hit and what a player actually gets paid, right?

Comparing a player's cap hit with another player's salary means you either have no idea what you're talking about or are purposely trying to deceive people to make your hero seem like less of a cheating dick

He got a mil more in base salary for the next three years out of the deal. Fans always get worked up over saying players were doing the team a favor or some shit. Baltimore fans this offseason were calling Suggs a selfless team player hero for "helping us" clear cap room...because we turned $3mil of his salary into a bonus. So the team went to him and said "hey, you know that base salary you were going to have to earn over the course of the season? we're just going to give you most of it up front right now in a big check!" What player would say no? "Nah, I'm good, I wanted to wait and see if I get hurt first! Fuck yo cap!"

Fuck me. The 49ers absolutely cannot catch a break. I didn't have high hopes for the season, but was at least hopeful we would start building again.

This fucking blows

Toxic office like I said last season. People don't want to work for scum bags.
