So is this actually a thing with any science behind it or are they just scapegoating vaping in general for people getting bad juice?

Looks like Ecigexpress gave in to the vape hate bans and no longer sells eliquids just flavors. My 70/30/18mg nic 250ml bottles for $11 are just a dream now.
Anyone else selling pre mix liquid I add my own flavors too left in business?
I stopped by a local shop and it was $25 for 120ml and its oily and shitty. Already missing my ecig juice.
I went with Liquid Barn. Had to spend $50 to get free delivery but I ended up spending a tad more. I got 5 500ml pre mix bottles and a 10 pack flavor assortment. The bottles have a best by 7/2020 on them but I put 4 in the freezer. That is basically a whole year of ejuice and flavors for $75. I picked up 3 5 pack coils and 2 new samsung 30inr batteries locally. No matter what Trump does, I'm set till 2021ish without spending another dime.I think Liquid Barn sells pre-Mix bases. That or buy the trio VG PG Nic Salts and a $20 digital scale from Nic River.
Salts is the way to go. If you buy NicRiv salts, buy the 'hit's ones not the 'smooth' ones. Sooth is too smooth imo.
CDC just released an article stating that 100% of the people that have died had tests on their lungs performed that showed 1 consistent agent:
Vitamin E Acetate. Used to thicken/cut juice (usually used with THC juices on the black market)
Outbreak of Lung Injury Associated with the Use of E-Cigarette, or Vaping, Products | Electronic Cigarettes | Smoking & Tobacco Use | CDC
CDC is investigating an outbreak of e-cigarette, or vaping, product use associated lung injury (EVALI). Learn CDC’s recommendations, and the latest outbreak information.www.cdc.gov
"CDC has identified vitamin E acetate as a chemical of concern among people with e-cigarette, or vaping, product use associated lung injury (EVALI). Recent CDC laboratory testing of bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid samples (fluid samples collected from the lungs) from 29 patients with EVALI submitted to CDC from 10 states found vitamin E acetate in all of the samples.
Recent CDC laboratory test results of BAL fluid samples from 29 patients submitted to CDC from 10 states found vitamin E acetate in all of the samples.
The latest national and state findings suggest THC-containing e-cigarette, or vaping, products, particularly from informal sources like friends, or family, or in-person or online dealers, are linked to most of the cases and play a major role in the outbreak.
- THC was identified in 82% of the samples and nicotine was identified in 62% of the samples.
So, as of now, 100% of those that had died and were tested had one chemical in common.
Stay safe and buy from reputed shops - never buy illegal vape juice off the streets, and question the ingredients to make sure you are clear of Vitamin E Acetate.
Ive been making my own juice for years and never heard of Vitamin E acetate. I never even seen it on any of the lists of chemicals I buy from wholesalers of juice products. So this must be exclusively used for THC shit, which I guess pretty funky since it is not water soluble, so yeah, you need to cut that shit with something to suspend it in a liquid.
E-liquid THC is easier to "dial in your high" and then maintain discreetly as there's barely any smell. I'm for regulation vs banning. Just like poisonous bathtub gin during prohibition. At any rate, even pinning the illness on an illegal market doesn't seem to stop cities and states from enacting more prohibition laws on the wrong shoulders.
