Speaking of which, is Vit 50 yet? He was going at it extremely hard from what I've been seeing him post.
I was the highest level in guild on day one.
Got 24 the first 16 hours. Was really expecting to get 50 in 24 hours, but the group xp% modifier took a bit of a nerf.

Unfortunately end of month is real important here at the office. Taking time off for this game would have costed me substantially. (Promotion under review this week)

I'm a dirty casual until this weekend. *sadface

Still averaging a level every 45 minutes solo *shrug*

I got 4 levels in around 3-4 hours last night I think questing and finishing up everything in Auridon. Moving to the next area tonight. I've been using a single target derpderp Ambush/Disguise/Surprise Attack instanta derp. I'm gonna go for an AOE build tonight to test things out. Destro Staff wall + Shadow Path and execute. See how it works out. Might not be enough dps though.

Should be enough if you wall spam. Try and find a Warlock set to get some free magicka each minute.

Instaderp is good if you can find a consolidated group of single pull mobs that are 4-5 levels higher than you, they should be about 1% xp per kill, and at instant kill speed you should be able to get a level every 30 minutes or so with considerable downtime. (think imps, clanfear, thunderbugs, ogres etc.) The tricky part is respawn timers.

Damn man. Save some for everyone else.

45 mins/level sounds about right for mid-levels, althoughaftera 50% mob nerf that sounds like it took it to where other games were at their launches at full strength. No wonder that guy hit 50 so quick.. that's crazy.

I'm pretty sure I was doing that in FFXIV with FATEs at launch. Would have been faster but you had to wait for them to respawn. Now dungeons are better for mid levels like that while doing Leves til they pop.

I can usualy insta derp one and half-a-derp a second. My problem is mana regen obviously.
Warlock set and resto heavy channel with Siphoning attacks on swap will solve this disparity, mana regen food and potions could supplement. Consider them a leveling speed investment.

Light armor cost reduction (21% maximum) is a thing to consider as well, especially since warlock set is light armor.

For those that don't know what warlock set is:

--Warlock Set--
Requires 3 peices (can be jewelery peices)

When magicka pool drops below 33%:

Gain X magicka (where X = ~ 33% total magicka pool *scales*)

1 Minute cooldown (non-modifiable)

** started dropping around level 18 **

Yeah, I've seen any set gear yet. I will soon I think.

I don't have Siphoning yet either. Soon. Soon. Few more skill levels.

I asked my friend at work if the areas in the game change at all as he's leveling and progressing but he says he hasn't noticed any changes visually yet. Anyone else able to comment on the variety of atmospheric changes in the game as you level?

Atmosphere is for casuals.

But for real, as far as the Aldmeri Dominion leveling areas, All three major areas I've been to so far have been Greater Faydark. Cept werewolves instead of orcs.

So basically the atmosphere is not very interesting after level 10.
If Variance is directly proportional to Interest in your mind, I'd say YES, However:

Some of the group content has decent variance in it. But other than that, it's entirely a matter of opinion. I think the game looks great, I don't particularly give a fuck whether one tree is brown and the other is yellow.

I guess I'm a sucker for consistency. Maybe that's why I've been with my woman for so long.

Are you the type that gets bored of a woman for not having enough variety?

PS: This is coming from a guy that sat in the same cave killing the same mobs throughout the entire launch day.

Can anyone answer this before I try it?
I would like to play on both but don't want to have to do massive patch every time that I switch servers?

Can anyone please, please answer this before I waste time trying it?
Look I just want to know if I fully download and patch both Euro and NA servers and keep them patched will I be to hop between playing on Euro and NA without doing massive re patch every time someone for the love of God if can answer me please?

Ebonheart Pact here, first big zone is Stonefalls, it's a mess with dirt, sand, lava and an angry volcano. It's basically very darkish, both sadness and despair are around the corner. Some cities, keep and camp, but upon doing Stonefalls you'd feel like swallowing grey paint from the nose. You'd encounter some coasts and some decent landscape, but overall it's pretty bland (and grey).

Then you go to Deshaan, which is OMG NATURE EVERYWHERE !!! There is grass, trees, treehuggers (fucking elves) and some other nice stuff. It's cool and feels relaxing after fucking Stonefalls, there is a lot of Argonian stuff going around (inca / maya like temples). Crocodiles, water and wasps strongly forbid horse riding (crocs will dismount you 100% of the time, they have some weird fetish following people for miles, dismounting them and reset "lol j/k m8" like the cunts they definitely are).

After Deshaan it's fan service time ! Eastern Marsh, which is basically Skyrim's Windhelm and its surroundings. I'm not gonna spoil you, but you'll meet some of the Mall's cool kids you saw in Skyrim. It's Skyrim-ish as fuck landscape wise of course, snow snow everywhere, lakes, hills and snow. It's beautiful and pure, it's like Switzeland without bankers and IRS dodgers. I'm still in Eastern Marsh right now.

So it's basically : New Zealand > US Maine > Switzeland. Needless to say, Ebonheart Pact wise, landscape changes a lot. I don't know about other zones but there is good scenery around. Of course it's not 2009 Skyrim fully ENB modded, but it's kind of "okay", mostly because the game doesn't kill your computer performance wise. Peace out.

Same client, just check your launcher and pick whichever server (filthy US and glorious EU) you want.

From what I gathered (4 friends and some official forum posts, hardly a trend you might say) if you're into the level 3-20 gap right now, you're gonna experience beta weekends style quest bugging. Some NPCs don't spawn, act funny or don't propose interaction. Most of those bugs can be resolved with logouts (forcing your character going in a different phase / instance). About Balreth, as long as you manage to keep the ally NPC in combat, it shouldn't bug (if your quest is bugged aka the ally NPC is invisible and you can't contain anything, just reset the quest by stepping out, wait 10-15 mins and come back with keeping him in combat, it works). Granted it's still infuriating when a lvl8 quest bugs duriong launch in a major MMO release. That said, I'm lvl 38 right now and minus Balreth I've yet to have a single bugged quest, I've cleared both Stonefalls / Deshaan quests / Skyshards / exploration POIs.

Some PTS people are already past regular leveling and farming Veteran Ranks, they just go ring of Mara with 2-3 people group and bash mobs in selected areas. With the right build / spec, you can grind 1 level every 35mins-ish, without much trouble. I did some with a light armor AoE resto staff templar. A 3-5 mobs pack will usually grant you 1/5 XP of a regular quest. Whenever you feel you're late level wise, just go at some mob crowded place and kill stuff. Most of lvl50 people didn't do questing at all, they just bashed mobs, in TESO it's somewhat faster than "regular" leveling with quests. And if you don't like both questing and mob bashing, you can pop in Cyrodiil and follow trains to get alliance points / XP. You'll get less XP though. TESO has many flaws, but leveling is IMO smooth as fuck, you can go up to lvl50 in any way you want without taking ages doing it.

I do understand people don't like the usual FedEx / 10 wolf pelts / check this area / leveling system. I also know a lot of people can't be damned into grinding mobs with their brains on standby mode. But tbh, you're in a type of videogame where a lot of ressources have been allocated into leveling experience. You have the right to hate it and think the game starts at max level, but in ESO, besides having a $60 instant max level character, leveling isn't really a hassle. I know there is a couple of people here saying leveling is slow, butwith the right setup, there is no way you're gonna be that slow. As long as you could keep being ahead of the crowd, leveling experience should be decent. You can solo almost anything, and world boss areas / anchors are usually crowded enough with people waiting for respawn.

So, just now had 6 straight crashes at various points, a couple times just hitting play on the launcher, a few times trying to load in my character. I am redownloading all 50 frigging gigs to see if that improves the experience; right now its easily the least stable since my first beta weekend. Thing about it is, it was way more stable until late Monday night; then it just kicked into temperamental gear. I am not sour on the game at all, just frustrated at this point. It's almost Marvel Heroes time.

I have taken to adding movie quotes and Scriptural references to all of my crash reports. At least the newbs who have to read them will hopefully find them entertaining.

And on my 6th crash, I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

Haha. Seems to be some out there experiencing the same issue with crashing. So don't think it is your build or computer. Probably a client fix coming on Friday. When the flood gates really open and shit gets real.
