Pledge of Mara questions, how close in levels do you have to be? do you both have to be in certain range for the exp bonus?

I am looking for someone that plays on the NA server to share a Pledge of Mara with depending on the answers I get above if you have to be same level, within in a set distance range etc?

If your interested and you play on the NA server and wont play week then just quit let me know about my pledge I need to share with someone to use it.

2nd post I am looking at the range the ring works as well as the level range?

Tabards and armor dyes would mitigate the problem, but certainly wouldn't solve it.
Great start but when players are forced to get creative to find solutions such as the "moth suit" or "101 Magelight Tricks" in order to identify who a leader is in AvA, that just toes the line between emergent gameplay and lazy design.

I've always been a big fan of melee/tank classes, but how bad is it playing one in TESO PVP? I know I had severe regrets playing melee in GW2.
It's not bad at all. I would go so far as to say it's relatively balanced but what is NOT balanced is VR vs. non VR in AvA. You will get 2 shotted, repeatedly, so make sure you get those levels and gear under your belt. The battle level (scaling) needs some serious loving.

was lvl 23 and read all this grinding talk. found a spot of +7 dudes, although they werent undead. no downtime on my nightblade doin packs of 1-3 and got 2 levels in 1 hour and 10mins without ring. i am starting grindlyfe
I'm doing quests + grinding what I find + searching out Skyshards and the game is staying somewhat fresh. I seem to get a level every 45 minutes so I think it's a wash. Grinding is just boring as fuck for me without the EQ group dynamic.

Which is sad to me, because they have a really good system where they COULD implement group content with pulling to a camp.

The sad part is, what group content there is (dungeons) got nerfed so hard that you get 3 xp a kill in there. The loot is a travesty, you're much better off just camping a public dungeon boss and killing them repeatedly for loot worth anything.

Could only find shit about mudcrabs dropping axes and things like that. The thread has 567 pages, I'm not gonna try to fucking navigate it for information. This is what you get with one thread per game. What happened to making sub-forums for new major releases? If you expect me to wade through potentially dozens upon dozens of pages to see what people think of the game, I'm not even gonna bother using the forum.

So is this the unmitigated disaster that was foretold?
I have a lot of personal gripes, but the game is solid, and the tech works far better than their steaming pile of beta shiite.

Yeah, a lot of the biggest complainers in this thread bought this game. That really doesn't mean anything, though, as we're all addicts.

I'm really not in a rush to do anything in this game. I'm only level 21 after a week. I play a few hours here and there. It's extremely solo friendly, to the point it makes Blizzard look anti casual. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Maybe a bit of both.

It's solo friendly, but there's fun shit to do in groups. Also non traditional groups: my favorite is running through higher level open dungeons with other random adventurers. .. ungrouped but killing and looting together.

You must wait 1 month before asking this. After the 1 month where people actually need to pay, you'll know the true answer. It's still shiny and brand new for now.

Edit: And I wouldn't take Ut buying it as any sort of proof. He pulled that shit with the PS4/Xboner and bought a PS4 like 2 days after launch as well.

It's another disposable mmo. Still worth a purchase, just don't come in looking for a long term home.
Yup. The annoying thing is that it could've been a great MMO with a few non-costly changes. Ex: No nameplates is going to kill Cyrodiil.

The nameplates don't bother me much. The combat is my biggest issue. It really makes it feel like an Elder Scrolls game, as it's meh. I wish they had went with traditional MMO combat.

The person who made that prediction and begged people to not buy the game bought it on day 2.
On a bet. Don't forget that.

The game isn't anything special and I managed about 8 hours of play before cutting the cord already. (Which could very well be due to overexposure from months of playing it before) As did the guy that bet me. He hasn't logged in in two weeks and is now hooked on the HOTS alpha)

The combat is still unresponsive from the hot bars, there are still annoyances in which you are mashing the E Key a couple times just to open a door because the system failed to recognize you hit the E key, as Pyksel mentioned above (I never experienced it directly but I assure you he did) VR Vs Non VR PvP unless it gets balanced immediately will be a cluster. Itemization is still boring. 1 gold... 2 gold... 3 gold... 4. Mobs going after random people without recourse thinking that is good design somehow. (This one irked me a lot. Especially when they are linked from across two rooms in a cave and I pull down 4 mobs on me because I hit one, with a delay of about 5 seconds before the other 3 come). UI is horrible, and really bone headed decisions in group/raid scenarios when it comes to what you can see for other players when you need to support them. Whether PvP or PvE. Action combat is still janky due to the dual layered targeting system.

Things going for it: Fairly well done atmospheric environments, good music (even though it seems like some of it was ripped from Skyrim directly) they seemed to have cleaned up some of the questing. I actually managed to do the frog racing quest - I think that one was broken since last August on PTS.) The Skill/Weapon/Armor system and some of the leveling traits/powers.

With that said, right now it's the ugliest girl turns hot in the bar because she is the only girl in the bar. Compared to other MMORPG launches it is exactly the same as the last games we have seen since 2004. Just a mish-mash of features from other games doing none of them well, but passable to make a game and ship it out and see how much money can be drawn in. The positive posts are fans that just love the game and will regardless. But there is nothing worth $59.99 here and a sub fee. At all. I am going to be curious how many stick around passed the first month.
