I'm satisfied that Wheeler is aware of the problems and is going in the right direction. For the next month or so I'll still be playing ESO. My intent is to continue the fight until the first campaigns are officially over.

Ultimately problems outside of his control and ZOS' ability and willingness to fix combined with ArcheAge mean that my time in ESO is numbered.
Is this something you made ZOS aware of? As I see it, the majority of players worth a shit feel this way as well.

As Tuco now knows (I am assuming after his meeting with Wheeler) about 70% of ZOS feels the same way. With their backs against a wall. Although I know Wheeler wouldn't say that directly. Nor would anyone else there currently.

But Paul Sage knows what he is doing right? With him steering the apple cart, you can forget about what you want as players. He will sink the ship before admitting he was wrong about half his design concepts - especially the ones that are outright ridiculous that could easily be fixed. You are dealing with the ultimate of egomaniac retards who hopefully will be at Zynga with the rest of the island misfit developers after all the dust settles from this atom bomb.

You always assume too much! We only engaged with Wheeler about issues I knew are under his control and didn't spend any time discussing that drama shit.

What are the PVP issues/problems Wheeler is not being allowed to address?

Nameplates, server lag, itemization, general combat etc are all items we didn't spend a lot of time on because he didn't have direct control.

Did you get him into a discussion on additional content in cyrodiil perhaps Imperial City release date? They're spending entirely too much time pushing PVE content as far as I can see.

I really want to care about this game, I think Wheeler has the right idea, it just sucks he's on a leash you know?

What about KV's list of PVP requirements you brought up several weeks ago? The constant criticism of PVP in TESO is that it isn't meaningful. What is Wheeler going to do to make Cyrodil more meaningful? On the flip side, what changes that could make Cyrodil more meaningful Wheeler is NOT being allowed to make? Nameplates we already know about.

Shorter campaigns, guild tabards/colors, keeps harder to flip, new PVP gear. There's always more to do but that's what's on the plate in the near term.

There's a more verbose summary on the PRX private forums if you want to read it.

That's a start. Aside from nameplates, what are the PVP issues that the executives at ZOS are not allowing Wheeler to address? I assume Utnayan was just making shit up again like he always has but I trust you not to do that.

Edit: I'll check the PRX forums. You made that edit while I was typing.

Instead of snark, perhaps try reading Tuco's posts? Nameplates is just one issue. Tuco specifically used a plural term, which implies there are multiple PVP problems that Wheeler is being overruled on.
You now have the other plural answers from Tuco.

Combat responsiveness, server architecture, itemization, I am also assuming PvP leveling stagnation and being forced to PvE for VR is also in there. Let's not be coy about it. There is a shit ton Sage won't allow to happen. Not sure why you continually defend this guy. At this point anyone in the industry can correlate Sage is horrible for the industry like the sky is blue. It doesn't need any type of proof. (And I say this because Sage is in charge of the game development and locked down design.) And one of the reasons you don't see anyone speaking out about it is because once anyone does, they are blackballed from the industry.

Welcome to Iran.

Reading comprehension is your friend. If you can pull your head out of your ass, you would see that I specifically asked what PVP issues/problems that have been identified are the executives at ZOS not allowing Wheeler to address. Nameplates have already been addressed. So far that is the only issue documented that Sage or Firor or someone else has overruled Wheeler on. If there are more issues or enhancements that Wheeler would like to make but he isn't being allowed to, then what are they? Surely your inside source has told you what they are.

The intent was to allow players to level purely from PvP, but the balance was off. Today's patch doubles the leveling speed. I recommended to increase it further but we'll see if they do.

We have the streamer who got power levelled to 50 in Cyrodil in less than 24 hours to thank for the PVP EXP nerf.

I'm actually glad the quest was nerfed. The kill quest should have never been put in the game to begin with. The quest to take a scroll or a keep are okay though.

I wanted to see huge milestone quests like kill 100/1000/10000 players for gigantic rewards and titles (if nameplates) this puts huge incentives on extended skull-bashery.
