On its own it isn't worth me investing in a GPU, then sequestering myself in my office to play on my PC. I catch considerably less flak from the woman if I game in the common area of the home.

Saw a post on the official forums from a guy who logged in and got a message he was number 115,000 in the Xbox queue. Don't think I've ever seen a number that high for any MMO I've ever played.
How exactly are PC players getting fucked over? Once the console launch settles down ZOS and new content starts getting pushed out the PC players will get the same new content the console players get.
Because they can only let about 200 concurrent before every NPC in the world vanishes. Good show!
You serious? All new content was put on hold last September so they could focus on console. You really cool with nothing new to do since craglorn? How about all the promised pvp features that never happened? How about the dumbing down of the UI once Sage and Firor realized they were going to have a console port? How about the idea that content, when it finally starts to come, will have to trickle out slowly so they can optimize it for 3 platforms; gods forbid PC get something new before consoles! Or the fact that every new DLC will have to be playable and fun on shitastic console hardware and with a fucking controller.
One thing I do like seeing about this game coming out? All the viral marketers will be called out in spades from a streaming stand point. The game itself is indefensible. And watching a few of them (Some admit it, some don't) run around trying to make it look more action based when they aren't doing anything (I mean seriously... who thought of that? It looks like someone with tourettes is playing the game) is some of the most facepalm slapstick comedic marketing I have seen Zenimax Media ever try to pull over on folks.
I'm plenty pissed about the direction of this game's development, and the lies spun by devs, but I'm not sure what you are talking about. The game's combat is pretty action based when the server and latency are working right. Look up pvp vids by Sypher - they highlight the potential that's been wasted by shitty development choices over the last year.
Last night I was watching a stream which was Sponsered by Zenimax Media (He even said as such) and while he wasn't doing anything at all (All enemies in PvP were dead) and the battering ram was bashing down the keep door and many others were just waiting for it to crash down to storm the keep, this guy was running around from side to side, front to back, around in circles, panning the camera around in circles frantically, activating his blades and swinging into the air while speaking in frantic tones to make it seem like something was happening other than they were bashing down a door and nothing else was happening until that concluded. While talking about, "MAN THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON LOOK AT THIS!" You can see this happening in Dungeons as well. Promoted streamers are specifically asked by Zenimax to keep moving their character at all times to feign more action than what really exists to make it look more exciting.
No one would care if you did and no one would recognize you on the battlefield.
This is the REAL reason why there are no nameplates! Less customer service calls for bad names!
