None of the ES games need mods to be fun.I'm not against modding, and actually think that every game (including mmos) should have that option. But if a gameneedsmods to be fun then I personally consider it to be a failure.

That's good to know, but it would be hard to discern that from recent posts.None of the ES games need mods to be fun.
"Dental appointment next, bitch!" LOLThe best way to play skyrim:
Its funny that TESO could be the first ES game to need mods to be fun, but won't actually be able to be modded.None of the ES games need mods to be fun.
Oh and maybe the quests, immersion and replay value. Also, you should try GW2 or Tera for action combat or maybe wait for Wildstar.Elder scrolls games are hard for me to go back to after playing Dark Souls / Demon Souls. (I didn't play those until AFTER Skyrim.)
The combat in elder scrolls games is just too simple when compared. The only thing better in Elder Scrolls games is magic and archery.
Then you look at ESO and magic and archery are garbage, while melee is the same as a normal Elder Scrolls game. Which isn't as good as Dark Souls.
They also summed up SOE as the best MMORPG company. That about sums up this entire genre in one fell swoop.Heh, Massively Best of 2013 awards :

Most Likely to "Flop": The Elder Scrolls Online
What would you give the best MMO award to? All of the options are terrible. I would probably give it to ARR as well even though it's awful, it's the best of a very bad bunch. I found Neverwinter to be basically unplayable, it was just an atrocious game. The runner up to best MMO was Defiance. So yeah, you can throw that article out the window.
I agree.I wouldn't give it to anyone honestly.
Did I miss something? I thought TESO was going to allow mods? Its funny that TESO could be the first ES game to need mods to be fun, but won't actually be able to be modded.
I'm pretty sure they said UI modding because they did their UI in Lua, not your typical ES modding.Did I miss something? I thought TESO was going to allow mods?
