theres a theatrical release that clocks in at 2h7m and an extended release that clocks in at 2h26m dunno what exactly the extra 20 mins is but if you are gonna spend time
i haven't seen a ton of torrents of the extended yet either, just a few 1080p rips. probably by the weekend should see good 4K rips
Well shit, I was about to come into this thread to dump on the movie, but it's apparently my own fault.
I really wanted to like the movie, but ended up just finding it "okay." My chief complaint though was that I felt like it needed an editor to chop it down. We paused it an hour in thinking we were at the climax but had 90 minutes to go. But shit, I guess they did and they edited a lot of it out and my dumb ass had us watching the extended version.
But an example was towards the end they have Blunt giving a pep talk to the actor before they shot the big scene and it just dragged on and on. I could tell what they were going for, which I commend them on, which was "showing us" instead of "telling us" how narcissistic and up his own ass the main actor was. But, they actually did tell us, many many times, throughout the movie that same fact. So we didn't need to be shown it at that point.
The humor was good, and Emily and Ryan were great in it. The antagonists however, were fucking terrible. The female one, especially, who apparently was going for "rich asshole who hates the poors, but is also a stupid hick." Which is a shame because the two TV shows I've seen her in she seemed to be a decent actor.
