I had way more kids than usual this year for some reason. Still got a couple pounds of chocolate left over. Used to crush it in one day, now It lasts me a week or two.

It’s pouring rain where I live so I didn’t get many kids this year. Was gonna give all the candy to the next kid who comes and no one came lol.

Around where I live you don't dare try and buy candy the day after Halloween.
The Mennonites around here usually shop for candy 1 day a year and they will have it all gone five mins after the store opens

Kids don't knock on doors anymore.

The neighborhood moms instructed me to stand on the driveway to handout candy. It was only for like an hour so I indulged them. But I was sitting on the tailgate of my truck a few beers deep handing out candy because kids are taught to never go to the door anymore?

I have no idea.

You read enough shit of people shooting delivery drivers through doors, its hard to blame parents really, but thats the reality we live in these days. My wife took the kido to our friends gated community to do it with their kids. they and a great time but the entire community contributes and makes it a real treat, and its just easier to walk driveway to driveway in that scenario.

I didn’t get many kids to my house this year. The city pushes a lot of trick or treating to businesses or stupid trunk or treat events. So much fear pushing in everything these days.

Speaking of melt, I literally just had two similar restaurants open up within a quarter of a mile of me, within like a month of each other. The Melt, and Melty.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to try them both at some point, but there are a ton of other restaurants in the area that offer similar, just not "melt" themed. And if I want to see skanky hoes I can go to Twin Peaks and get a pretty decent burger, all things considered. Or Mel's Diner or Bruschi's for even better. All even closer than the melt ones.

I'm thinking at least one, maybe both, will be out of business within a year.
