I did too. They're pretty good and they definitely make them fresh. Think a large was like $3 maybe?I had beer battered onion rings at Hardee's today. They were better than expected, your results may vary.

you have a mental block with fast food. After starting my lifestyle change I just don't want fast food because it tastes like crap mostly and its hardly filling. McDonalds and Taco Bell made me feel ill the last times I had them; was just on a long road trip so we stopped at wendy's, got nuggets and fries and immediately regretted eating the fries, my tongue was numb after there was so much salt on them. So it wasn't so much the working out, it was just the knowing what nutritional food tastes like. Working out does make turning that doughnut down easier though. Thinking you'd have to ride a bike 2 hours to burn off that one doughnut makes the choice a lot easier.
It's bullshit. Drink diet, lose weight.Do any of you fast food nutritionists have any comments on diet pop? I tend to drink 2-3 cans of diet pop a day, but I heard that it is supposed to mess up your bodies response to calories because it's sweet? Tell me that it's bullshit so I can feel good again.
They all have their downsides in terms of ingredients. Moderation is still anyone's best bet.Doesn't diet Sodas have aspartame in them now? You might be doing more harm to yourself then drinking regular soda.

I thought that was because your body gets used to caffeine, so it has less effect on you? Just like anything, get used to it? I have a blue (diet) Monster every day in the morning, and on the mornings I'm like naw, I'll just have iced water? I'm sleepy as fuck. So as much as I can slam one at 9pm, and fall asleep by 9:30, it still does something to me in the morning. Not sure why.Fuck soda either way, but then again I'm a hypocrit drinking Rockstar, or now that a murphys is next door to work, their pleasing "blue" house brand is nice. I've worried a bit about the no calorie stuff, since who knows who to believe. Aside from being way more expensive, I do try to shy away from the ones with 1000% of all kinds of vitamins, taurine, etc.
Really miss the Rockstar 2x, tasted like extra tangy mountain dew and at 320mg caffeine actually did it's job of helping me stay awake late nights @ work. Now I'm lucky if a regular + coffee does anything.
Yeah, I rarely drink soda these days, unlike my youth where I would chug Mtn Dew all day. I tried to have a Mtn. Dew a few months ago, jesus I felt like a 7 year old who had downed a 1lb of sugar, was sooo sweet. Never again. The biggest rush I've had lately was after drinking diet for quite a while, I cheated and had a frosty can of Mountain Dew, and damn was I flying! I think the sugar did it more than anything though.
Right, because the "manufactured cravings" are made up bullshit. Someone said it probably makes your body "think" sweet stuff isn't unhealthy or some bullshit and some other fuckhead said "yeah it makes you produce too much insulin!". Then someone did an actual study and carbonated water made your body produce the same amount(statistically insignificant difference) of insulin with zero sweetener. It's not quite bullshit, but what is bullshit is thinking that regular soda is somehow better. It's not, that much sugar is much worse than diet coke's manufactured cravings.
