Confirmed shit taste in soda. Tastes best from the can also.Vanilla coke tastes horrifying.
Had RC Cola recently from a local diner, and I swear it was the best thing I'd ever tasted. Had it since from other sources, and it didn't taste nearly as good.No love for RC Cola?
Real vanilla is kind of a precious commodity. Fake vanilla is beaver ass gland. What is it with vanilla sodas? Why is modern science incapable of not fucking up this simple flavor? Every now and then one of these jokers pushes a vanilla version of their product and every time it is wrong. In those fancy mixer machine, they have cherry vanilla dr pepper that has clearly just given up on the concept of vanilla and gone all cherry all day. Vanilla coke tastes horrifying. Vanilla pepsi tastes even worse.
100% bullshit. Stop getting your information from the Food Babe.Real vanilla is kind of a precious commodity. Fake vanilla is beaver ass gland.
Look it up.
He's not entirely wrong - try Haagen Daz Vanilla against some generic brand vanilla (basically any besides Breyer's, they're OK - not sure if they use real vanilla or not though) - there's definitely a difference between the vanilla extract ones vs. real vanilla in flavor, to a gigantic degree.100% bullshit. Stop getting your information from the Food Babe.
Claims what I say is 100% bullshit.I'm referring to the part about beaver glands. Imitation vanilla extract is made from wood and it is not as good as real vanilla, but no one is actually using castoreum to flavor their ice cream since it's much more expensive than real vanilla and is mostly used in perfume. It's just one of those things that hippy retards talk about to try to convince people to avoid "artificial" food even though beaver ass is as all-natural as you can get.

And wow, I didn't even know that was a thing, lol - I thought he was just saying "tastes like ass" in a clever way. But the snopes article makes it sound plausible, which is weird.I'm referring to the part about beaver glands. And no, not chocolate chips - I don't even like chocolate chips in ice cream. (I hate having drastically different textures in a food item - hard + soft together is no bueno)Those are chocolate chips bro. Of course that's better.
Pure Vanilla Extract, yes (or another mild alcohol) - Artificial not so much. Not sure your stores, but Pure Vanilla Extract vs. Artificial is like 1:5 or so in the stores I frequent though. Some don't even carry pure. (Although it is getting more and more common it seems, thanks to Foodies being a more common thing I guess)I mean, Vanilla extract is just vanilla beans seeped in vodka isn't it? And never say crunchy and creamy together is no bueno to a chef. They're liable to smack you.
