Chili mac, bro. It might not be able to get forums fixed, but it's damn delicious. Is chili and pasta a normal thing? I've only really ever had chili by itself with hunks of bread or my father's chili he makes specifically for hot dogs.
It's a mental thing, because I don't mind chili, and love pasta, but mix the 2 together, and all I can think about is the disgusting Hamburger Helper that used be at school lunches, and served at home. Goulash is another name? All fucking gross.Chili mac, bro. It might not be able to get forums fixed, but it's damn delicious.
Potentially, but all has been ruined by shitty ass Hamburger Helper. Notice the mixes of hamburger + other things is what I can't stand for some reason. Chili, Goulash, etc.A proper goulash is amazing, shut your mouth.
A proper goulash uses something closer to stew beef. Sounds like you're talking about something closer to stroganoff - which can vary pretty drastically...Potentially, but all has been ruined by shitty ass Hamburger Helper. Recipe looks solid. I wouldn't mix the onions in with the beef though. I'd wait until the end and put raw chopped up onions on top of the chili. That's how it's served in restaurants. I don't think I'd want the onions in the actual chili. It would fuck up the consistency. Will this recipe pass for you Cincinnati Chili supertasters?

Ya, I'm talking elbow macaroni, with hamburger. Ghetto Goulash? Gross. Or maybe that's just chili mac, and I don't like that either. Chili is pretty good though if it's on top of a hotdog, or on top of some corn bread!A proper goulash uses something closer to stew beef. A good proper goulash is hunks of beef in a sauce, often thickened with mostly paprika and pepper driving the flavor. Most go the tomato route for the sauce, I prefer the less common sour cream based sauces myself (I normally HATE sour cream too - basically it and french onion dip are my only applications for it personally)
Yea, sounds more like bad chili mac... sorta like how my wife talks about her dad making her mac and cheese and adding hamburger to it... ugh.Ya, I'm talking elbow macaroni, with hamburger. Hamburger with mashed on top sounds like a boring shepherd's pie.Bros any of ya'll cook hamburger with beef gravy on top of mashed potatoes or white rice?
I'm sure it's got some ghetto name but I love that shit.
Wrapped in a paper towel and overcooked in the microwave is the 2nd best way to cook them after grilling. My favorite are ballparks right now, I just enjoy the taste. They're only good if you grill them though, boiling/frying/steaming them just isn't for me.

I haven't had it in years, but as a kid I legit loved some Hamburger Helper. I didn't even understand that it wasn't considered "food" by you supertasting fuckers until later in life. Fucking LOVED it. Beef Strokinoff flavor, I could McCheese a whole box of that shit in one sitting.Potentially, but all has been ruined by shitty ass Hamburger Helper.
