me tooI wish I wasn't too lazy to cook stuff.
There's been a restaurant in Sedalia, Mo, that's had a 'Goober Burger' for as long as I can remember. They keep a little kettle of peanut butter warmed up on the edge of the grill and pour it over your burger when it's done. Not mine, but this absolutely belongs here.
I tried the Spangles Peanut Butter and Jelly Burger - Album on Imgur
That happens with commercial grade cheese sticks to. Sometimes they'll empty out almost entirely. Those things dirty up deep fryer oil worse than any other sort of standard appetizer fare.I have made homemade cheese sticks before. They came out great except for the ones that I didn't get totally covered with the breading because all the cheese ran out the holes in the breading.
It's because they're overcooked when that happens - you want to fry them until the cheese is softened not liquid and the outside is crispy. For my fryer at 375 it's something like 3 min - start pulling to check them every 30 sec or so past 3 min. That happens with commercial grade cheese sticks to. Here in Minneapolis, everyone loves the Juicy Lucy (burgers with the cheese in the middle). Several of the joints around town have a Peanut Butter Juicy Lucy with the peanut butter in the middle all warm and gooey and oozing out with each bite. They're quite good and worth a try now and then, but that PB&J steakburger sounds too far out for me!There's been a restaurant in Sedalia, Mo, that's had a 'Goober Burger' for as long as I can remember. A taste sensation. I've tried it a few times at home over the years, but it's not quite the same.

I know the old location on the corner closed, but someone told me they reopened just south of that intersection. I thought the Wheel Inn was were I had the goober burger. But the Wheel-In closed a few years ago :/ Too bad, it was a damn tasty, greasy burger too.
Just had a quesarito and had them add the new ghost pepper sauce. 10/10. Do it.
