I miss having those types of things as an option - downside to living on a low pop peninsula. Our delivery options are two pizza and one chinese... period. No secondary delivery services/etc.

We probably have them in south FL, but I've never researched or used them.

When I was in Miami I was afraid to use the service because I thought a homeless dude would head wounds would show up - oh wait that already happened to me when I was minding my business on the beach near Biscayne Bay

Noodle walks into Overtown, like the worst neighborhood in Miami. Fucking tourists.

I was at the Epic. I don't knwo what slum city you're talking about but if it was the one literally 300 feet down the road from Epic then yes I was there

Edit: The hotel was for richie rich fucks, lot was filled with Ferraris, Teslas, Lambos, Maseratis, then I go looking for a Pizza Hut and walk into skid row

Yeah, you probably didn't walk to OVertown. It's not far, but it's not right by the Epic. Maybe you ran into some bums that like to hang out at Bayfront. I've drawn you a map. I hope it doesn't trigger any latent traumatic memories.

If you're ever brave enough to visit again, I'll show you around the less dangerous areas(no more than 2 head wounds per 100 sq yards).

Wasn't referencing Florida in general - just Merritt Island. I'm pretty sure if we lived in a more dense part of the county we'd have delivery services. (Heck, I know for a fact we'd have Jimmy John's added to the list at a minimum, since I did an order from them when we were scouting)

I'm genuinely curious on what people spend on lunch each day. I typically am somewhere between $4 and $6 depending on where I'm eating. Pretty much always fast food. I guess I feel like if I was gonna spend $20 on lunch. I'd either go get something sit down or have something delivered.

Today was Panera, got a potato soup bread bowl. Soup itself is good Just dissapointed in the amount for that price.
Probably in that ball park of $4 to $6. Maybe one day a week I spend about $10 if I do something other than fast food. No meal on Friday and we have a meal together every two weeks so the company pays for that. I bring leftovers once every two weeks only because I like to get out of the office for an hour.

The lady who works in the office next to mine always ask "How you can afford to go out and eat every day?" Umm it's 4 days a week and I'm single. She's single and I know what she makes, I'm not sure what she spends her money on. She lives in the apartment complex I lived in for 2 months and she has a one bedrom so it's $900/month. She asked on the day I went to Burger King and had a whopper and a drink.

For the week I'm under $30 or so.

Well, I did something I'm not sure I've ever done before: I threw away fast food. I ordered the buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich at McD's and only lasted two bites before tossing it. The flavor of the sandwich was alright, but holy shit I have never seen a lower-quality, more gristly, nasty chicken patty in my life. It was worse than the shit they put in McNuggets. No thank you!

Must just be a location thing because I've had 3 so far and all have been good and someone else here posted a positive experience too. Noodle and you though have had bad ones.

Damn. That would have put me off any chicken there forever.

I had a similar experience. It was super dry and about the thickness of a pencil
