I got some chicken fries for the first/only time about a month ago and they were awful. I'm pretty sure they were not deep fried at all.. they were room temperature and soggy as if they had been just put straight from the freezer to under the heat lamps and "cooked" that way. so disgusting. I think it was mostly because the BK i went to was bad. But even if they had been deep fried I'm not sure they would have been good, the flavor was just lacking.Chicken Fries at BK have the worst "chicken" out of anything in fast food to me. Tastes and looks nothing like chicken and the fries are about 80% breading.
My favorite is now the chorizo burrito. Things are awesome for $1.50 eachSorry you bros are getting shitty buttermilk chickens. Mine have become my favorite none breakfast item to get there now.
yeah same they were ok.I'm on the same train as well on the chicken fries. I cannot at all understand the praise they were getting, tasted like cardboard and I'm pretty sure they are about 10% actual chicken
Is it still Red Baron from them? I know they're the company behind Red Baron normally, but they've taken the branding off the website in recent years - and I've not used them in probably a decade. (I forget why I stopped entirely though, pricing on stuff is rather competitive - delivery costs or something?)Shit is so good, you both are missing out.
Red Baron makes a good one too but usually you can only find it on Schwans Trucks.
