Yea, I used to be a hater of Pizza Hut, gave them another shot during the specialty crust stuff and been pleased every time thusfar. [Although I mostly stick to Thin/Pan of their options]

I agree that Pizza Hut quality has gone down significantly over the last decade or so. My biggest complaint, aside from the cheapening of their ingredients, is the fact they are stingy as fuck with their sauce. Most of the time it comes out dry as fuck (aside from cheese / crust grease) with hardly a tinge of red color of pizza sauce, let alone any appreciable liquid to it. I've just given up on Pizza Hut altogether.

Is it time to call people out for ordering shit Dominos and Papa Johns instead of local joint pizza again? You people without local pizza places are excused for your shitass taste and recommendations, you don't know better.
If you live anywhere with a population over like 50k you have a local place that makes better pizza than Dominos. This shit is ridiculous.
Vaguely related, learned this weekend that the close Greek place does a pretty fucking tasty pizza. And dope breadsticks. Wasn't something on my radar and a buddy suggested we try it. Great call.
On the subject of Pizza Hut, we had someone here or in the old thread break it down pretty well. New thing is higher quality, after it's not the new thing anymore they start half-assing it. So if you get the new breadstick crust pizza thing now it will be decent, get it in 6 months and it will be typical shit quality Pizza Hut.
edit: Dominos pizza recommendations are forgiven for drunk people. Its fine then. And of course their ridiculous dessert things are great.

This comes down to location a lot too. It seems like the costlier the area you live the better a deal Dominos etc becomes. People post about every local place being $25 a pizza in their Cali area and some of us are baffled. $13 for a large pie with 2-3 toppings is pretty normal here. But I fear it won't be for long, Pittsburgh is gentrifying all over now. I weep at the idea of having to wade through gluten free free range pizza shit to get to my normal greasy Italian hand made flavor country pie.

This is probably true. Papa John's is definitely my preferred cheap pizza. And I do order it from time to time. The good pizza places here are just vastly more expensive and typically take much longer to deliver. And the best pizza places don't even deliver.

Those cookie/brownie thing at dominos, that are new(I think?), is fucking good. Thankfully the Dominos near my house is actually good, so I don't mind ordering pizza from there. They get a lot of business from me when they have that 50% off online orders every once and while(usually lasts a week or so).

I'm a pizza snob, when we moved to Lancaster PA a few years back, wife and I were of course driving around checking out food places. Saw a nice big sign, "NY Style Pizza". Coming from our previous location of VA, we thought, hell yes. Just ordered a pie, and chatting at the counter.
"So what makes it NY Style Pizza"?
I'm expecting, a little bit of sass like, oh it's thin, maybe a little greasy, we make our pie dough the night b4, blah blah.

I could look. I've never heard of such a thing. Generally I'm adjusted to asking the eatery itself if it delivers.
Edit: I am googling atm, and found a website called "bringmethat" but when I search my city all it brings up are places that already deliver. By all means, let me pay you a fee on top of having them already deliver. The search continues.

Not even close bro. All they serve is the south florida metropolitan area. Soygen probably has them on speed dial. I'm a bit north of Orlando, but well outside convenient range of any Orlando based services I googled.
