Don't disagree with this at all. Was referring to the new breakfast 99 cent menu.
The fries were good, but more because they are cheese fries than the little bit of spice they got from "ghost pepper".

The sandwich was too hot for me. I finished it, but I had tears rolling from hotness. They loaded that bitch up with the sauce, which was really good, but so hot. I was surprised because I had their Ghost Pepper sandwich they had a few months ago, and that wasn't even close to this hot.
Per this thread, just had Taco Bell Bacon crunchwrap and the Grande scrambler burrito. The crunchwrap was meh, not a huge fan. The Grande Scrambler though? That shit was amazing with steak! highly recommend. Also tried the breakfast quasalupa, and I'm not a huge fan of the potatoes, so that was meh.

Yeah I know I reviewed them awhile ago, and my conclusion (I believe) was that the sandwich was ok for a change of pace, but not worth getting repeatedly. The fries were ok, because cheese, as The Ancient mentioned. And those little green chopped up "peppers" were actually bell peppers I think, so it isn't quite as ghost peppery as you'd imagine.
It is nice though because if you're lucky you can get them to add the pepper jack cheese to the regular spicy chicken instead of the crappy american I normally have to get. Yes, I'm one of those people that adds cheese to my chicken sandwich, because cheese makes almost everything better, particularly fast food.
EDIT: After reading Crone's review, perhaps I need to try it again. That's the same exact ad they had before, and my Wendy's (which I just went to on Monday) told me it is the exact same sandwich and fries as before, but while it was pretty hot, it definitely wasn't as hot as he's describing.

Eating one right now (for science) along with the ghost pepper fries, and you must have gotten an abnormally hot one or something. It is "hot" so to speak, but it isn't any different than the one I had before, and easily tolerable for me. And I'm not one of those guys that claims nothing is too hot, trust me.
