That sounds like a typical order of buffalo wings from Wild Buffalo Wings. Cardboard container of standard breaded/fried wings with your chosen sauce poured over it. It sounds good for a regular meal, but I certainly wouldn't want to deal with it while driving.

I always loved KFC's spicy chicken for this exact reason: the spice was in the breading. It's been a while since I've had it so I assume it's still the same. You might get a sauce on it if you order a sandwich or something, but generally they were decently spicy without being soggy with sauce. It's the same for everyone's favorite spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's. I'd be happy to eat their breaded spicy chicken patty like a giant chicken finger.

*Edit* Speaking of chicken fingers, Cheesecake Factory has AWESOME chicken fingers. They come with delicious mashed potatoes, and the way to really kick the dish up a notch is to dip the chicken fingers IN the mashed potatoes.
The Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich is my golden standard when it comes to reviewing any other fried chicken.

Have you ever had the cheesecake factory's boneless buffalo wings? They put the sauce inside the perfectly fried batter so you can eat them with your fingers but still get that saucy goodness. Delicious.
I believe you're talking about the Buffalo Blasts T and yes, I agree that they are delicious. In fact, my usual order at Cheesecake factory is Buffalo Blasts as an app, Cajun Chicken Littles as my meal, and a slice of banana cream cheesecake for dessert.

Cheesecake Factory is surprisingly good for a place that has what seems like 300 items on the menu. I have no idea how any respectable place can serve that many items without half-assing all of them. Cheesecake also might be my favorite dessert (or ice cream) and they have excellent cheesecake. But I can hardly finish one of their slices in one sitting because it's so rich and over six inches high.

KFC wings are pretty good, and I don't mind wings from pizza places even though they are horribly over priced. Best part about them is that sometimes they let them sit in the sauce for a while, and when they are all soft like that, I can just suck all the meat off the bone in one fell swoop. Consume the whole wing in 1 bite basically. Makes for some good eats, and no mess because it be all in yo mouth!

I see what you're going for, but that would just be a dinner of two burgers without dessert.
I'm with Kirun here; dessert is for people that like sweets. As someone who doesn't like sweets I would rather invest those calories on more delicious things. As a dovetail into the fast food chicken conversation, can any chicken nuggest beat McDonalds? I've tried BK, Wendy's, and JitB but none even come close to being as good as McD's. Shit, I completed a 50 chicken nugget eating challenge a few months ago and after the last one I was sad that they were all gone. That challenge was completed because I don't fuck around with dessert.

There is a gastropub in Hamden CT that you would love. They do confit wings in a sriracha sauce. If you ever find yourself near Hamden go there, it's called Mikro and they might be the best wings on earth. Slow cooked in pork fat.

I think McD's chicken nuggets are absolute shit. It's just spongy, gristle-filled nastiness. I'd rather have chicken "fingers," which tend to be made more of white meat and less of chicken brains and eyeballs and shit. That said:

Finally someone else in this thread who can eat like a man. I bet a single slice of cheesecake won't fill you up.

They not nasty, they are awesome. Love getting the 40 meal deal with an extra sandwich.

I sometimes like to eat my chicken nuggets nice and slow. I'll bite or peel off all the breading, and eat the chicken, then eat the breading on its own. It's like crack.

McNuggets are great when they are freshly made and hot- anything beyond that or "reheated" they are nasty.

For my kids wendys nuggets are their absolute favorite.

I just shivered with nausea.. the thought of eating a chicken nugget like that is disturbing.

I agree with this, however, I believe that it extends to any fried fast food. I actually worked at McDonalds as my first job when I was 16. Back then they still had the dark and white meat nuggets and I remember my least favorite customers being the ones that asked for white meat only nuggets. We'd just try and pick out the nuggets that had the lightest look to the breading, but there was no way to be sure.

McNuggets are good in a nostalgic way but not actually good in a food sort of way. I get a 20 piece and some barbecue sauce and wolf them down once a year for old time's sake. If I want actual chicken strips my favorite place to go is Arby's because at least at my local store they always cook them to order so it's a 5 minute wait but they are always hot and crispy.

Yea, I can definitely put back some food. I do have the control to eat lightly for days before I do somthing like that just to make sure I don't kill my waistline.

I thought it was pretty easy to tell the difference? Weren't white meat nuggets always circular? And dark meat were misshapen? You usually always got 1 or 2 white meat per 6 piece. Then McDonalds came out with Chicken Selects which I remember my brother always wanting. Those were all white meat, something between a nugget and a strip, or maybe they were chicken strips.

Chicken McNuggets don't even taste like anything. They are pretty terrible.

Chicken Selects were Burger King, I think. They were strips and much better than McNuggets.

Chicken Selects were McDonalds, and they were good because they were more akin to "chicken fingers" in that they consisted of white breast meat. They were an answer to Wendy's "all white meat" chicken nuggets which, at the time, were fairly new. Until that point, most "nuggets" were just like McNuggets with their spongy, what-the-hell-is-it filling.

What were the Burger King ones back in the day? Chicken Tenders?
