My father picked up Hardee's mexican food for dinner and he applied his Taco Bell ideals to Hardee's items. At Taco Bell for 3 people he'd get like 4 burritos, 10 tacos, and 2 crunchwraps. So at Hardee's he got 3 burritos, 4 tacos, nachos, and a taco salad. This equates to about 10lbs of food. You learn from experience.

I keep seeing these commercials for Carl's JR/Hardees, and as far as I know there's no locations in Jersey. Anyway, it's for this spicy burger with some bitch eating raw jalapenos (wtf?). Anyone tried it? It looks tasty but I can only imagine it shows up like a pile of dog shit.

Tried it, much regrets. It wasn't terrible but I would have rather had pretty much anything on the menu. The only noticeable flavor was the jalapenos, not my cup of tea on a burger.

I finally got around to trying this place (Cafe Rio) on your recommendation. Overall I really liked it and I'll probably go there again. Chickenpants mentioned how it was hard to eat due to being soggy...well, I think he was eating it wrong. This place doesn't make Chipotle-style burritos that you can pick up and eat with your hands; instead, they're slathered in sauce and stuffed to the brim with saucy pork, so they're definitely meant to be eaten with a fork and knife.
I really liked the flavor of the sweet pork barbacoa and next time I'll probably order a double meat just to get more of it, since that is easily the best part. I also really liked whatever "hot" sauce they slathered all over the burrito after wrapping it up. I was sliding pieces of rice/beans/pork all around my bowl to sop it all up.
The best thing was the size of the burrito, though. Holy shit, it was easily 30 - 40% larger than the biggest Chipotle burritos. I usually find myself still hungry after a Chipotle burrito, but this one actually left me feeling fairly satisfied.
Good recommendation. Will try again.

Honestly the spicy chicken sandwich would be healthier than that pseudo salad + "ONLY" two packets of dressing. 210 calories per packet.
a whole spicy chicken sandwich is 510 calories.

Sign reads like it's chili not taco meat though.... could be good or awful depending on the quality of their chili (I've not had Taco Bell chili personally before any pitchforks if it's good)

On that note, went to Burger King a couple of weeks ago for breakfast. I remember it being really good. You know, for fast food. It was TERRIBLE. The hash browns taste like a homeless man's crunchy asshole, the sandwich was clearly just microwaved or something, and my wife's french toast sticks did not come with syrup. A failure on every conceivable level.
