My mother used cottage cheese for lasagna because it was "healthier". Ricotta is definitely a superior cheese. My favorite pizza place here puts dollops of ricotta on their pizza with an ice scream scoop. Fucking amazing.

Since Raising Canes is on the first page, just know that their special sauce is not...special. It's ketchup, mayonnaise, & hot sauce. It's basically the standard crawfish sauce you can find anywhere in the region, and my family's restaurant had been serving it for ten years before Cane's was even open. They used to use decent quality chicken, but it's gone to complete shit in the past year. They aren't even strips anymore, they're nuggets, and they've been very rubbery.

Best cheeses are Pepper Jack (with jalapeno) and Cottage (with hot sauce, try it)!

Thought you were going to enlighten us with the cane's sauce recipe. I've been using a similar sauce for as long as I can remember in our family and my parents got it from their parents; so while true, ketchup+mayo+??? has been used as sauce in seafood boils for longer than any of us have been around, Cane's puts something different in theirs, I think its crack.

Not a fan of Raising Canes. Local home cooking style Fried Chicken places like Bubba's make better strips, and imho the best sauce for strips and fried chicken is plain old honey.

Ground italian sausage and ricotta. If you want more cheese use mozzarella and marscapone. You should be ashamed.

BK nuggets are the worst thing on the menu. There's a BK around here that actually makes god-tier fast food burgers though, they have the best whoppers and big kings. The secret is how they grill the buns.
