You still haven't given me the name of a better baker

After eating at our local 'Cajun Goop' place Yat's tonight I thought about how fucking easy it'd be to make a Cajun fast food place that didn't suck. Just throw that shit in some sort of container with a special spoon to minimize spilling and BOOM! Delicious goop for cheap that's easily mass produced.

Here are several

No mention of Martha there. Also pretty hard to have a conversation about best bakers without talking about Hans Nadler.

And I could go on, mentioning various places with huge reputations. But Martha Stewart is an industry, not a person. She's famous because of that, not because she's the best. She does fine, and she has good bakers and chefs who work for her, but her real strength is pulling a dining room together with an arrangement of fall leaves.

It's a good thing.

Yes. The number of shows you have clearly indicates how great a chef you are. There have never been people who are just figureheads for the industry who have huge teams behind them making them look fantastic.

Let's look at Robert Irvine, for example. He's had several shows, but is a crap cook with a huge PR team.

Martha Stewart also has a line of paint, so she clearly is the best painter around. And she has a line of linens, so she's clearly the best bed maker around. It is all about her as a business, not her talents.

But this is a derail that is not worth having. So, Yay! Martha Stewart. She's awesome.

Speaking from experience, Robert Irvine is far from a "crap cook".
I certainly over stated that. He is not, however, so magnificent a cook that he is more deserving of having television shows than other chefs who have no shows. Saying someone must be magnificent because they have a show or two is kind of silly.

Please stop ruining this thread with your elitist baking talk. You have a whole thread to show off your monocles and tuxedos while discussing the merits of various high class chefs.

Yea, let's end this shitty real food talk in the fast food thread with a statement of pure fact: Jack in the Box tacos are better than any other fast food basic tacos. They are also cheaper. It is known.

JB Tacos are the weirdest tacos on the market. Taco Time on the other hand is some real premium shit.

I miss that sourdough burger from Jack in the Box. When I was in California I would eat that shit all the time.

I used to drive back and forth between Little Rock, AR and Baton Rouge, LA about twice a week for a year and a half. Nothing was better than pulling in to BR at 1am after being on the road for 7 hours and getting a tasty Jack in the Box fat nasty burger or other random special sandwich they were offering.

IDK man, Wendy's in unbeatable for me at the moment. Jack in the box is like bottom tier down there with Burger King, atleast here in WA.
