some of these easter eggs are just easter eggs. they arent all meant to be foreshadowing. they teased harley quinn last season in arrow and we never got to see her. they also teased a few other things that still have yet to materialize.

I'm digging The Flash so far, but I do question the pace; are they revealing too many characters? It's almost as if they don't care to burn through material in season 1, because a merge of this and Arrow into Justice League is inevitable?

Holy shit that was awesome, i cant believe DC cast another actor to play The Flash in the Flash movie. that decision will bite them in the cock.Gustin is a natural for this role and holy fuck Grodd is in the show. i remember him from my childhood watching Superfriends. this show is going to rival Arrow for best comic show on tv. oh and props for adding The Kirgen to the cast.

Have you seen Carniv?le? He's also the voice of the Chevy Truck commercials... so yeah.. evil. but SOOOO good at it.

Definitely a good episode. I don't like the trend that so far being a metahuman means either you're the Flash or it's a death sentence (with one capture exception).

They do seem to be working in a lot of the "teach him the Flash patented tricks" such as water running and going up buildings. I hope they hold off on "vibrate through solid matter" until at least the season finale.

I was a little surprised that the blew up Plastique as the new backstory they created for her was quite good. The final scene with a certain simian was a nice reward though

Seriously that shit gonna get old quick. For some reason, she reminds me of Laurel in Arrow : just as freaking annoying.

Yeah mildly annoyed at the whole Lois Lane thing going on, where she's clearly falling in love with The Flash while not realizing it's Barry and he's still pining for her.

Clancy Brown is an awesome addition to any cast.

I laughed when Detective Sterndad lost his shit at the vibrating voice.

i usually hate when they shoehorn in an awkward romance into a superhero storyline, but for some reason this seems to work really well. and yeah the cop dad cracking up was great. i like that dude.

This romance doesn't work because Barry has Felicity Fucking Smoak ready and willing to slobber all over his knob and yet he chooses to pine after this other chick.

barry knows she has the hots for oliver. the little fling they had was testing the waters to see if "they"(barry and felicity) could in fact work. the whole time on their "date) barry was gawping at that other chick and felicity still has her head in the oliver clouds. that was the whole point of that episode, (they also needed a way to separate the shows). they love who they love and barry and felicity going out isnt going to change that.

I don't give a shit if it works or not, it's just so lazy and cliched in comics. It's fucking Lois Lane, but with a blog instead of a Pulitzer.

I'm no Flash expert, but he's a male comic hero so he has to have his Catwoman/Black Cat/Emma Frost etc etc. Who is the sultry villain broad that he's going to be conflicted over, any big Flash comic fans?

Well in the comics, he eventually gets married to Iris. Flash is the clean cut hero who, like they just showed last ep., has a life outside of being a hero.
