I'll give you probably the best advice ever, don't think about it. People do things for their own reasons and men and women often just have very different reasons for things. It could be a dozen things. She could have felt things were moving to fast. She may be really impulsive and have low self-control. She might have felt slutty she didn't even get the "real" date. The list goes on and on and on. But no matter what the reason is, 99% of the time the girl is gone and nothing you can do is going to change it.

Got the ultrasound today, baby 10 weeks along, not 4. guess that explains the last 2 1/2 months, I feel terrible, I pretty much left her... Because she was pregnant, and I lost attraction, no clue how things might have turned out different had I known. FML

Oh I know all this. Just wanted to add the story to the pot. I'll be fine by Monday at the latest. Just blows for now is all. Well, he knocked that girl up that he was all serious with, but he didn't know until the other day and she's ten weeks in. He's "90%" sure its his kid, but thought she wasn't this far along, more like a month but now he's been told its 2.5 months. He broke up with her in part because she was putting on weight, but of course now its more obvious why. The one post had a pic of her so I understand deleting that and all. This. I said some really nasty things that I probably shouldn't have. It was actually today, at the abortion clinic, that I learned that the baby was 10 weeks along (it has a heartbeat, and I have the ultrasound measurement in front of me) (p.s. anti abortion laws really fucking suck, some of the things they were "forced" to do because of state law were fucked up (in addition to the mandatory waiting period forcing multiple appointments when she already has to drive over an hour to get to the closest location).

Some of the things I said have been quoted by others, I can't get rid of those, and I'm sure someone out there saved the picture for posterity. She bled (lightly) in the middle of May, so that is why she did not suspect pregnancy (she had been really weird and I had even asked her about 6-7 weeks ago if she was pregnant, and again IN NYC after she threw up just outside of a subway car, I asked... and when she emphatically said no, I believed her, but could not explain why I felt so disgusted by this woman that I loved), but yes, things had been going 100% amazing up until pretty much the day she got pregnant. It just kept getting worse and worse, and being able to think of no other explanation than "our honeymoon period" was over and this is just what this woman was like after a year together... I broke up with her. When she told me she was pregnant and thought she was 4 weeks along I told her "Yes, the last 3 weeks sucked, but our relationship had been going downhill for weeks before that, you getting pregnant changed nothing") And again was wrong... I pretty much lost all attraction to her right when she got knocked up by me.

Yes, she was on the pill, continuous use (to help prevent migraines), which explains why her periods were light, but regular, but from what I understand, all you have to do is miss a single day and then boom instant-super fertile.

Fuck that use condoms. Its the only way YOU, the man, are in total control of contraception. Pulling out can work and all but its fucking risky, and I personally find it much more satisfying to be able to cum while thrusting inside of her rather than pulling out and finishing myself off on her belly. I've never understood how people think condoms don't feel good, it feels a lot better than pulling out and basically having to finish with my hand. At the very least know her cycle dates too so you can estimate ovulation and be extra careful on those days.

Agree 100%. Using a condom and being able to finish inside is way better than jerking off after feeling pure bliss. People here say condoms suck, but I guess I'm used to them.
