I basically abandoned PoE2 and my friend there for this I’m having so much fun with it. Wife’s been teasing me about the old graphics and cheesy skull particle effects from my SK. RNG/SK/BST has become my main, just as tanky as my PAL/DRD/ROG, but kills so much faster. Paladin is great for undead and sustain, but doesn’t bring much if you aren’t smiting. I feel like you can combo Rogue and Beastlord with anything and profit.I've been getting bored with Hardcore WoW. May have to get a EQ client and give this a shot.
Yeah sadly earing requires one of the 3 healing classes to use (clr/shm/dru).
yesAre the earrings clickable from inventory if you're clr/shm/dru?
Thanks in advance...
You basically want to kill the adds at 60% and 40% and just save your burn for 20% to dead.welp i cleared all of VP easily except for PD. looks like he has a poison, disease, and magic debuff that he puts up, not sure which one is the slow (or maybe they all are) but the shield clicky does not do anything to get rid of the disease debuff? I checked it looks like it's called Drake Decay and it should be dispellable? But i could not clear it spamming the shield..
I also don't have any way of clearing magic or poison, I would say the purge poison AA from rogue but if he casts that debuff more than once per fight then that's not going to help.
Ok the poison is called Drake Scourge and has melee and spell slow, the disease has to-hit debuff which makes you miss more....
I don't know why the shield would not clear the disease, how are y'all handling the poison?
Also not sure what the magic debuff was, it had 30 stacks, looked like an ice comet icon.
edit ok looks like it was the adds, protector of Phara Dar, who cast the debuffs, so maybe since i didnt kill them they were just constantly reapplying the debuff which is why it wasn't clearing? idk..
Ok. I'm convinced. When I get home from work I'll fire this bad boy up. Right now I'm leaning WAR/SHM/MAG. Any advise would be helpfulI basically abandoned PoE2 and my friend there for this I’m having so much fun with it. It's a blast. Most fun I've had in EQ since the Mischief TLP.Ok. I'm convinced. When I get home from work I'll fire this bad boy up. Right now I'm leaning WAR/SHM/MAG. Any advise would be helpful
They have all the AA listed on their Wiki. Some of the descriptions are off (blood pact is actually a lifetap buff, for instance), but it gives you a good sense of roughly what's available. I don't think they plan on adding anything else until maybe PoP or GoD, except minor tweaks here and there for class balance.I'm going to load this up. Just out of curiosity, I can't find it in the FAQ. What era are the AA available through? Might impact my class setup
By the way, as a Shaman you should get the AA slow. It is insanely good. No cast time, 8 seconds reuse and lands on everything (PD etc.). Might resist a few times, but a huge help in longer fights.
Best advice I can give is join their Discord and make sure to check the getting started and recommended AA sections since this is wildly different than live etc. WAR/SHM/MAG sounds like a good combo to me, should have your bases covered. Really just about any combo is going to be able to solo well, some will have an easier time bossing than others, but should be able to duo/trio basically anything.Ok. I'm convinced. All races get frontal stun immunity. So, instead of everyone rolling Ogre, everything is Iksar instead. How important is Ogre unstunable racial?
The weapon from the chef in sebilis has an aoe proc that you can use.sk/bst/clr has been really strong so far, did Inny at 350 AAs during classic and PD at level 54, granted I did have 1200 AAs by then. Procs are the majority of your damage for bosses, tap procs are a little inconsistent but I rarely have to cast a heal for raid mobs. You get 3 invulnerabilities, mortal coil, leech disc and deflection disc which makes swarming very very easy, I've done the entirety of nadox in 1 pull just for fun, took longer to pull than to kill. You don't get AoE procs like warriors cause they're tied to the war only weapons, but you can just load up all the cleric AoEs.
Cool, I'll check that out.The weapon from the chef in sebilis has an aoe proc that you can use.
