I started with the SK/ROG/CLR build, since
Janx
was talking about it as being able to, comfortably, take on all content at high levels. I took it to 20, but since it felt slow I decided I needed some gear. I thought I should try to make some plate and a weapon with blacksmithing, but since it was so slow, I needed a new toon to farm up some rusty weps to skill up.
Pet class was supposed to be good with trash, so made a Mag/BST/ENC and it was a night/day difference. Since it was so fast, I took the pets toon to 35, switched to AAxp, headed to LGuk and picked Dire Charm first. With the Frenzied Ghoul, pets can
almost clear the whole undead side before respawn (w/ Doppleganger upgraded too)... so no need for rusty weps to level blacksmithing now.
After 100 AA on pets toon, switch back to SK/ROG/CLR and it feels even worse, since it's still slow as shit. Made enough plat with pets class that I can buy some cheap gear. Load up with cleric plate, since it has spell power and some spear with 80 base dmg w/ 44 delay (lego quality
Sharpened Bloodtusk for 1pp on AH).
Now, as level 30, went to Lguk and killing shit is still slow as shit (compared to pets) since most dmg comes from backstab, but at least all the rooms have been survivable (Lord wasn't up).
I don't really know what AA should be priority for the SK/ROG/CLR to make things faster. I took a few rank 1s of the abilities that add procs, but they are low percent.
