Yes. Very rare. I think I've had 4 drop ever and I'm now 60 with 350aa (small beans I know but that's still a lot of kills)

This is incorrect, for melee weapons the proc limit is based on the entire round. So if you triple attack your proc limit is split between the three swings. This is one reason that range attacks are considered different as each bow shot is its own “round”. If you triple fire three shots each shot is its own round.

I rolled up a gnome WAR/NEC/SHM named Meatgazer to mess around on while waiting for Velious with my "main".
Holy shit, the sustain on this combo is fucking nuts. And then when you throw in Scimtar of Lifestealing with Blood Point during RoRZ? Just insanity. I killed Hoshkar at 50 with 450AAs and never even had to toss out a Shaman heal. The kill speed isn't quite as insane as some other combos out there like SK/ROG/SHM, pet cucks, etc. but the sustain is crazy good.

Make sure you have the AA slow and AA Malo. No mana cost slows and malo with only 8 seconds'ish cooldowns are great. Save you a lot of casting time and mana right there.

Go to Dulaks Harbor if you dont have PAL in the build. Lguk is mostly a slay undead thing. Also recommend getting to 35 so its just a little easier to land hits and shouldn't tank your aaxp/hr. Money in Dulaks is also VASTLY better for $ than lguk which will help secure better gear.

Tribute vendor can help with this later on. Shes next to the midget bank in bazaar. Turn in any shit items that wont sell. Can buy some eyes of innoruuk/cloaks of flame etc. for super cheap and can turn them in for over 11k tribute per pop.

Forgot to mention Dulaks does require kunark to be unlocked. I guess on that note if anyone needs Kunark/Velious unlocked let me know and we can blast some dragons.
So you are using a weapon with no proc besides the augs ? kills may not go as quickly as you would like.
To be honest I'm not sure how well that trio will do in terms of grinding, no slay, no ass/HS, only AE is shaman spell or two and disc'/AAs on cooldown. But if this is what you want to play at least get yourself a proc wep, pref AE and try to stack some spell damage.
ranged does work like that yea. but we're saying the same thing. 1 triple attack = 1 proc, but procs are not blocked by each other. technically the proc from my weapon innate proc and the aug can occur at the same time its just rare
