Foci effects are in, so look for gear with Spell Haste III or IV on them. Alternatively, you can use the Tribute vendor for the focus effects you're missing.
Fayguard Bladecatcher and Painbringer are the popular ones. There are some other AoE weapons, but most of the rest don't proc until 50+ like Earthcaller, Poison Wind Censer, etc.
You can look at the "zone connection" map if you go to the atlas section of your map.
They were part of Legacy of the Ykesha, an expansion Sony forced them to rush out like 3 months after Planes of Power released. So, it was mostly just a bunch of quickly built zones that don't have much thought put into them and the loot was very lackluster.
AA are always slow at the start, especially if you don't have AA veterancy bonus. I think my first 1000 took longer than my next 3000, honestly.
Is that the aa 145/150 number when you get exp? Why is mine so low if that is the number? Tied to time ?
AA vet bonus gives you a huge xp modifier to AA on alts until you get within the sum of all other character's spent AA according to the following formula:

My "main" is PAL/MNK/BER and I've been doing well so far. A couple of the ToV dragons are a PITA because it can be tough to split their adds. But, the dragons themselves haven't been bad, other than their massive HPs.
Yeah the Pal seems to really fall off once I can’t use slay a lot. I only have 400aa total, so can do a lot of AA farming on undead in nadox still. Maybe I’ll swap ench to berserker today and then save my second free AA/char that goes into effect tonight for down the road and I can swap the pal to cleric then.
