Splitting the councle in PoEarth B sucks for a chance at 1 item. I just used the Timeless Tier BPs instead. SK for tank/DPS and Cleric or Pal for Support pet bags. Plus, the class gear comes lego, so it can stay tradeable, and no need to level shit up.

Of course, then I tried a Quarm lockout that my Monk/Zerk/Clr failed, with the petcuck in ~40% PoP gear and failed on the petcuck too. So shelved petcuck, since after 3 nights of AFKing an item a night, in PoFire, I couldn't even be bothered to take the time to go set up anymore.

On your mnk/zerk/clr try HoHV + Timeweaver (or Whorl shield for even more ac). I know it sounds counterproductive since it’s a 2h class for big frenzy crits, but it got me through Quarm. Also have a Shield of the Immaculate so you can spam click it for the chain slow from all the adds.

Maybe at the time the pet cuck bis was written the molds were expensive? Who knows? Me and a buddy have just been duo'ing time. Goes a lot quicker and not bullshit and EZ. We split the loot depending on who needs what. It really does not matter. Hes go the cuck but a version with enchanter instead of bst. He puts out a TON of dmg. Ive been taking my pally or SK depending on how I feel that day. But looking at logs of our runs, I feel like im just another one of his pets, lol.

I thought about it yeah, but little interest in leveling items up anymore, so I haven't played in a week or two. Having my SK/RoG/Wiz go from killing Quarm fairly easily to getting obliterated by him over and over before 90%, on two different Quarms, killed the rest of my motivation to do anything. Hell, I even cheated by porting my Trader account into Quarms room, for full level 65 bard buffs, and still couldn't get him below 50%.
So I basically just read this thread now, and that's about it. If easter has a good XP bonus, I might see if that helps item xp rates and pick it back up then.

YEah the leveling items thing is a real PITA. Ive been playing less and less as well. I figured you need to kill something like 725 mobs in PoF to level up one item blue to lego solo. that shit is retarded.
Also item xp rates dont get effected by bonus. I kind of tested it. Its always .~14% per mob of course level of mob matters.
Back when I was still rolling alts, I would give them a blue lucy item to level up with and Take them 1-50 and STILL that fucker would not be leveled up to lego. Again, retarded. I know they need to balance so that lego items are worth more and people buy them instead of leveling shit up for cheap, but I also feel that item prices would adjust accordingly (green and blue items would be worth more) and why not make it like .25% per mob or something? Right now green and blue items might as well be vendored, they are almost worthless other than the rare drops that everyone wants like the earthen bracers... Because everyone looks at those green items and UGHS at the time investment or the moneys to sink other greens into greens or blues to level it up.
Right now my pally has 3 BIS items in the bag that are green, quarm drops, bracers, a ring and some other item, oh the brute armplates or whatever. And I just cant be bothered to level that shit. Thats roughly 2,200 mobs I need to kill.

Yeap, been doing Kera -> Seru -> sometimes VP (Rage augs still sell for 13k+). I was doing five min runs on Xegony and Coirnav for chances at Crucibles to sell, but until the uber Prismatic aug is fixed/made worthwhile, there's not really any buyers.
Just tanked Zeb for 10 mins without moving to see if I'd get autoflagged as AFK, but looks like either my wolf form illusion from a White Wolf recast "moved" me, or they don't have that zone included.

Sk/RoG/Wiz can get close to those numbers too while still in ~50% or so Luclin BiS. Here are some of the old Quarm kills and the last fail w/o curing a single slow:
Rallos was low DPS, due to needing to hold cooldowns until add phases, hard cast taps and use a shield, but Inny and CT are good examples of letting the CDs fly (Wiz auto crit CD makes every proc/poison crit for 2 min):

YEah my SK pulls about 5-5.5 depending but im no where near BiS. The pally im still learning when to let go those CDs So most of those parses is just pure auto attack/spam skills plus some minor Cds being cast. I also dont want to wait 5-15min between pulls either being with my buddy, so we just go boss to boss and i do little CD action.

I was running two toons at the same time though Time for a week or so, even though I couldn't kill Quarm on one. Switching back and forth as the 15m cooldowns were on cooldown after phase 3. Some bosses I would do w/o cooldowns and could have probably got more efficient usage on switching back and forth, eventually (like using more cooldowns for the P3 trash, then switching). Took 2-3 hours, probably, if I wouldn't have been afking, at times.

At level 55, you get about .21%/mob in DN. That's about as fast as it gets.
We've been bitching forever about item/AA exp rates and their solution at the time was just making EVERYHING in DN level 60+ (we were bitching in Kunark that it made more sense to stop and sit at level 30 and do all your AAing, rather than going to 60 with the shit exp, since nothing is really red or even white anymore in that expansion).
They STILL won't fucking untie EXP rates from mob con, which is the absolute weirdest fucking shit. It has to be some kind of coding thing they just don't know how to fix.

Yeah well im not about to delevel my shit to level up a few items, thats just retarded. I guess I will just play less and less until they either fix this shit or I end up quitting altogether. His answer to this exact question, about item exp was, "well you know you can infuse items into items, right?" It jsut shows they are not playing their own game. And if they are its not what we are playing.

The whole AA/item EXP thing has been being bitched about since Kunark bro. We screamed about it constantly in Kunark, because that expansion sucks ass for leveling/AA/etc., since EVERYTHING exp related is tied to /con and that expac has very few 60+ creatures. So, you had to either sit at 30 in LGuk until your eyes exploded, or sit in PoHate at 50 until your eyes exploded. And this was all prior to the whole deleveling thing they allowed for, which only got added in response to all of the bitching around this era.
Do you think they would consider not tying EVERYTHING to fucking mob con? Maybe add some alternatives? Hot zones? Anything? Nah. Their solution was make DN just a full level 60+ zone and hope people shut up about it, because Velious had just opened.
Item leveling isn't a "problem" when you still have AAs/levels to get and it's just something you do passively while grinding those. But once you're level/AA capped, it feels like an absolute chore. And since they also refuse to add new/more AA, tie everything to mob con, etc., it all feels pretty terrible. That's why I usually "end" most expacs after the first 2-3 weeks or so. There's really just nothing left to do but wait at that point.
They aren't changing it. They've had this on their radar since fucking early Novemberish at the minimum. They either don't care or they literally can't fix it for some reason.
