I watched the original season and I didn't think it was necessarily bad, but it wasn't BSG level awesome. I never played either of the games, but I know enough through osmosis about where everything shifts, I don't have a burning desire to watch the next season. It's probably going to be an utter disaster.
Also that's pretty gay and fucked up.

Prolly gonna watch summa this if time permits Sunday night. Looks like the casting for Abby works out really well here. Not sure how I feel about them Latinawashing the only Jewish character in the story but whatever, Isabela Merced is hot. Still pissed about Joel dying in the game but Pedro Pascal calls people nazis and shit so I'm not going to lose sleep when the inevitable happens to his character.
Main issue with the casting here is and has always been Bella Ramsey. Not only is she a smug little weirdo IRL, she doesn't work AT ALL as Ellie.
TBH that chick from Alien Romulus (which also has Isabela Merced, lol) would have been a good Ellie. Probably a lot of actresses who would be a good Ellie. They inexplicably went with this one. Well, who knows.
Mainly curious as to how they're going to split game 2's story into 3 different seasons when game 1 only took up one season AND had room for an entire episode dedicated to gay romance that had nothing to do with anything that happened in the game AFAIK. Whatev. Do I sound jaded yet?

Resubbed Max...only one episode is up? They don't put all the episodes up at once? Who does that in 2025? Dammit, I could have waited 2 weeks to sub and gotten the whole thing, now I'll need two month subs to watch the whole season and that's kinda 2x as much as I planned on spending on this.

She should compete in men's sports and dominate the men, we need that to level the playing field from the 100-0 it is now in the other direction and restore equilibrium.
I'm just unusually pissed that I spent $10 on Max to watch, essentially, one episode, and now have to try to remember to watch the rest of them later, and will need to spend another $10 to see how the season ends. This is such an archaic way to release a season of a show.
