whats sad is he was entirely happy w/ the completion of the job, i've been reading a few "stories" on sucky ass big box contractors, i guess how it works is home depot will contract out to whomever is in the pool to do the job if you wanna go that way and it's hit or miss, while he had what seems to be an entirely positive experience.

Christ you guys are some judgmental bitches. It was more wishful thinking that I could keep the money. Other than the thought and this thread, I didn't make an honest effort to keep the money. In fact I made attempts to get them charge me and was turned away because they claimed I didn't owe anything. Most people would have immediately turned around and blew the money. I must be a true scum bag for going through the effort of calling their store, corporate office, and going there in person.

And as with everything else in the world/internet, it's all or nothing. I'll be labeled as a heathen for the thought of it. Never mind that I pretty much live most of my life like an good citizen.

come on dawg, your intent was to thieve, don't try to turn the story around just b/c you got shamed. you wanted some way to get a zero balance receipt as a gotcha, heck you probably activated some red flags or tripped some system alert b/c of it. (it's why further investigation came of it)

the rest of us just get free stuff when we don't expect it. like i got ordered a floor mat and it was undersized and amazon said, just keep it, everyone benefits, i like using amazon more, they have a loyal customer.

you just straight up want to theif home depot, and feel justified in "stealing from the corp" instead of the contractor.

You know, Amazon or the vendor is missing out because of your theiving ways. If Amazon gave you a refund you should give it back because you kept the product. If they sent you the correct size you should make an honest effort to send the original one back so they can sell it.

Guys I bought my wife a 300$ acrylic case makeup case from Amazon and cancelled it 10 weeks later when seller didn't respond and it was a couple months past ship date.

Came home to the thing on my doorstep a couple weeks later. Never told anyone until now.

but then I figured hey, pretty sure Jeff Besoz is a closet jew and felt better. Were any of those mexicans jewish?
