is there a way to check if you have a warrant out for you?
tried a few of those public sites but uh, i think its just showing that ive been arrested before one of those sites where you get lil info then gotta pay for the report

You need to have a law enforcement officer do a warrant check. It’s kind of a bummer because if it comes back with one they’re probably taking you in unless it’s a stupid traffic warrant they don’t want to dick with.
damn thats rough, guess well find out when i show up for court in december, i figured they might tell me just incase i didnt know there was a warrant out and instead of looking like a fugitive i could turn myself in.
Its in another state i was living there for the last year and just moved, but i left 4 months ago and the only thing i got in trouble for up there was a stupid traffic violation nothing serious, but court for that is in december, it jus got back to me that i guess cops questioned a few people about me a month after i had left.

I doubt there is a warrant out for a traffic violation that you didn't skip court for. The warrant would come if you decided not to go to court or not to do whatever you get sentenced to (I had a 8hour driver school class from a long time ago I didn't know about and when I went back to FL from NC I had a warrant out for it).

I don't know if you got an answer to this, but I got a ticket in NC during a road trip in 2013 and you pretty much had to get a lawyer for the court date. They do some lawyer voodoo after you pay them and it's like nothing happened.

I know this issue is a few years old, but almost all courts allow you to look up your record online and should tell you if you have a warrant.

For instance, if a contractor says they will repair a house for X amount of money to be determined in the future, but if you back out of the contract you owe 15% of X in liquidated damages then a contract stating that would be void?
