If Pedro Pascal or Bill Burr cost them one red fucking cent they would be out on their asses. Again, you're choosing not to see it.

Like I said, she made her choice. If you're right and Disney's wrong then she'll come out of this all the better and Disney will be humbled and brought low.
Burr did the SNL routine well before his second Mando episode. Remember how much the left loved that bit? Spoilers, they didn't.

Lithose’s last reply cements his mentality. Doesn’t matter if you tell someone for months that they are being subject to a “coup” with no evidence and get them riled up because he tossed in a weak disclaimer

Shove all this shit into the insurrection echo chamber, I mean politics forum

You and Mist are essentially saying "if you fucking conservatives would just know your place and not speak, we'd all be fine".
More like "read the room" and/or "fuck around and find out." She fucked around and found out.

The majority of Americans are sick of your brand. It is tainted because you fell for the most obvious con-artist in the history of mankind, all the way to the point of open support of insurrection and the installation of said con-artist as an autocrat, and now claim you're the victims. It's not working and most people are not falling for it.

If liberals could get their own crazies under control, you'd be absolutely finished, but they obviously can't, so you still have a few last hills to die on and bucks to make off anti-cancel-culture culture, so keep fucking around and finding out I guess?

I don't know why you're bringing up Russian Collusion and how the Democrats went on a 4 year campaign saying the elections were illegitimate and a tyrant was in office, which lead to months of rioting (And the capital was stormed multiple times).

Hell, there was even a whole Democratic wing of the Senate saying Dominion was complicit in fraud and was above the law...(I mean, Stacy Abrams launched one of the biggest new NGOs with full Dem leadership support claiming she lost due to fraud and wrapped it up with Russian Collusion. She's been nominated for the nobel peace prize though)

But that's besides the point. My post had nothing to do with that?

Oh, you meant Trump repeating these talking points is worse now because you're uninformed and only get angry when the media tells you to bark. Okay. I get it.

(Seriously, I can do this all day--I have a huge collection of quotes from Democrats calling the last elections fraudulent...lol. Plus, if you want to come to the politics thread for why Stacy Ambrams was right when she pointed out there is plenty of evidence to be suspicious of in our voting system, I can school you in a few posts. I'll only use citations from Liberal sources, too; before you go on and assume I'm just in a "media bubble". Its pretty sweet that the media has skewed your on view that much you don't realize this was the Liberal position just last year).

How would maintaining Gina cost them "one red fucking cent"? You honestly think people would stop watching the show over her comments, or alternatively people will suddenly become Mandalorian fans and start watching due to her firing? If anything, this act will drive viewership down, or risk degrading quality because now they have to dump an already liked key character, and/or replace her with some new actress. If there's *any* argument for how this might save or make them money, it's only from the angle that these corporatist woke purges and activism seem to keep the Left satiated, and hence silent on shit like how they further censorship in commie nations, exploit labor, and all the typical Mega-Corp crimes the Left used to care about.

You keep saying this. Trump, per capita, had more people vote for him than any sitting President in history. His support has remained steady since leaving office. About 50% of America is sick of YOUR shit, too. But you keep banging that war drum trying to silence them. Except you can't silence a large plurality like that. You want them to be able to talk to there can be some reconciliation--unless you don't believe your own bullshit and censorship is the only way to own the room.

Which lets face it. That's what this is. You're part of a toxic ideology and the only way you can make it passable is to use immense propaganda to paint the other side as the same. Its not going to work, Mist--the more you push, the worst things will get. And by the time you realize things are fucked, it will be far too late.

Which is the problem. No one would care if all companies had a blanket policy they enforced to avoid drama. What people care about is the hypocrisy where about 50% of America is being targeted overtly and being silenced, while the other half is given a bull horn.

You and Mist are essentially saying "if you fucking conservatives would just know your place and not speak, we'd all be fine". It goes against every ideal this country is founded on; it wasn't right when conservatives did it to the left during the Hollywood black list era and its not right now. People who defend this, are terrible. They are, as you say "gross".
Give me a break with your "no one would care if" shit. The goalposts would just be somewhere else.

No, we're trying to tell you that Disney's perception is that people don't even want to engage in this culture warrior bullshit. Disney is selling their products largely to those people. What is your solution here? Should Disney be forced to continue to employ her even if she refuses to quit doing whatever it is they're telling her not to do?

Again, you're saying--45-50% of the country; We're not selling to you, so we don't want to hear your bullshit. Just be honest about it. You think its fine that giant corporations take sides even against half the country. Which is why Liberal stars can do the exact same thing and skate.

And I'm saying, that's a huge problem. Even when Conservatives controlled nearly everything, their mantra was that the other side spends money too. Economic participation and communication within the culture are bedrocks for a country to remain together. Each time you advocate for this blatant hypocrisy, you drive a wedge there.

Its gross.

And again, what did she say that was bad, Chaos. I still don't you read what she wrote.

Personally, no, I don't think people would stop watching unless she became quite vocal or extreme. I'm not talking about me though, I'm saying it is Disney's perception that moving forward with her would not be worth the cost. Disney isn't a liberal bastion, they're a fuckng sweatshop, they're the living embodiment of the term "wealth gap".

The socially awkward lesbian shut in is suggesting we "read the room". Just let that all sink in for a moment.

But its not as bad as Chaos sticking to his IOOTI routine and acting like Disney has not been injecting woke shit into every crevice it could, even at the expense of money. Remember A Stich in Time or the fucking Captain Marvel movie with Tree Larson going on feminist rants? Selective amnesia is a hell of a drug.

You're trying to make this into a Trump thing. It isn't a Trump thing. It's an extremes thing.

Is it really? Or is one side just painting half the country as extremists to justify gestapo behavior?

Nothing she said was extreme. Please show me what she said that was extreme. This is the crux of the problem. You have labelled even fairly moderate behavior on the wrong side of the line as "extremism" to justify censorship. No matter how moderate a conservative is--they need to answer for the most extreme. Meanwhile, as I said multiple times--BLM has ambushed and murdered cops, killed dozens in rioting and stormed the capital and yet disney stars proudly display shirts with their symbols.

So what is an "extreme" here. Because it seems to be, anyone to the right of Obama is an extremist now. At which point, the word has lost meaning. So please--show me the extremism.

I don't think you're necessarily wrong and I don't think Disney was super smart here, but I'm just explaining why the whole brand she's associating herself with is toxic and something she was likely warned against and then ultimately actioned.

The fact that her acting is not good certain does not help her case.
