Jane sort of had Thor as her boyfriend, but i think at that time she broke up with him so she could become Lady Thor without him.

The idea of making sure the female lead/co-lead doesn’t show “weakness” has been pointed out by a number of content creators, and has to be a prevalent thought among some Hollywood decision makers.


The hero’s journey works, and has for a long time. Granted I don’t want to see carbon copy shit, but these film makers should probably pull from it.

Problem with Heroes is the creator originally wanted self-contained seasons with new characters each season, but after the success of the first season, they were basically told they had to continue the story. So they essentially just had to make shit up as they went along with no solid long term narrative framework from the getgo.

Other issue is they kept nerfing everyone, especially Hiro. They really did Hiro dirty in the revival sequel as well (well, they did everyone dirty. Claire got Padme’d)

I would say first season, singular. It got weird pretty quickly after that. They wrote themselves into a corner with Peter and Sylar that they never figured their way out of.

Wow yeah Endgame clips and Avengers music?

Then the trailer has a Guardians of the Galaxy setting and not Kamala Khan's bedroom for the entire thing.

Captain Marvel needed to be charismatic and needed to be cameoed in multiple movies to be a big deal. They abandoned the character for 4 years.

they knew she wasnt popular or well liked long before the "40 year old white guys" thing went viral. they purposely sandwiched the movie before Endgame and marketed it as a must see movie to understand Endgame. the ploy worked, but tricking people into seeing something that wasnt the thing they said it was left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. especially since the movie was horribly boring and stupid. you can tell this was their answer to DC's Wonder Woman movie, except Wonder Woman is a beloved character and nobody gives a fuck about Captain Marvel. Brie Larson was also terribly wooden and miscasted for the part. she didnt even look sexy. her outfit and her body was not very feminine. Gal had all that and then some. she even had a boyfriend she cared about in the movie. at least men and women could relate to her and Steve. Brie didnt need no man, she destroyed any man interested in her. she scowled and screamed like a bitch on the rag. nobody wants to see that. now they want us to fall for this again, except there is no Endgame to get us in theaters and Brie cant be boosted by two nobodies from D+. nobody cares about Curry Marvel or Black Marvel.
