Someone uploaded a Slipknot concert from '99 in St Paul that I was probably at. Just fucking popped up on YouTube like a week ago outta nowhere. That was cool and all, but the real cool thing is the DJ for the rock station here who used to run The Xtreme Metal Shop show on Friday nights commented on that video, and it turns out hes been uploading those shows from the early 2ks onto YouTube. What an awesome find, it's like a time capsule from when Metal kicked ass.
I thought it was cool, so gonna drop it here too. Hell, there's bands I hadn't heard of, or at least have been lost to the sands of time. Might find some awesome shit in here. The video is just a slideshow of all his personal pics with bands and shit, nothing important. But it's great to just listen to while you're doing other shit

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this, but I'm putting it here because it's Body Count.
Pink Floyd gave Body Count permission to record a new version of Comfortably Numb...and not only that, David Gilmour offered to play guitar on the track.
It's not really Metal, but it's Body Count, and I think they did a phenomenal job.
Now I'm going to listen to Body Count the rest of the night

I saw they’ve been active lately, but a cover ‘sanctioned’ by Gilmour seems pretty crazy. I was under the impression he’s kind of a dick about stuff.
